I am so deeply disgusted by Lunime's decision to approve this preset into the game. It should've been given a second or even third thought if necessary, for them to realize that this inclusion to the game, is nothing but outright disrespectful.

Hello, I am actually the one who made the preset. I just wanna say that I'm really sorry and I apologize for making everyone disappointed and upset by my preset. I didn't mean to be disrespectful and mock Jesus as I thought it was a silly joke ((Also a lot more disappointing because I'm a Christian myself :')) I know, I was being stupid but I promise I won't do it again. In the next update, I will try to contact or update the jesus preset and maybe transfer it into Celestial (I mean, he deserves to be in that category... But I'm not sure if it will happen but well have to find out.) But I still wonder how luni even approved my preset and had no second thoughts 😭

Firstly, thank you for redeeming yourself and explaining. I would rather be a Christian than a pagan, atheist, agnostic, other religion or a legalist have done this. Going deeper into the subject, what will I have to do (although you have already apologized).... My advice on why it's not ideal to do this, just in a few simple words: we are already seen as a joke and we need more people saved.
But I also think it's very irresponsible that Lunime approved this, like, it's obvious... :/

I’m a Muslim, and saw the hijabs, and I was *so happy!* but then I saw the Jesus preset, at first, I thought it was kinda normal. But then I realized the Christians are probably offended. Thanks to this video I understand a lot more about this topic.

Lunime did not make the oc itself (someone else did and submmited it) but they did approved it and put it in the game-
I'm an atheist and I can't speak for everyone but I really don't care it doesn't bother me at all, but we could ask them to remove it in the Christmas update, I'm sure Luni will listen.

Hello! One of the moderators in the official gl2 server, Sen Alster, so this jesus preset in the GL2 is already being talked about! Due to many complaints, it's a possibility that it'll be up to removal, I'll inform the admins about this case again. ^^

Jesus is definitely not a meme. I find it very disrespectful that they created Him like that and put Him in the meme section. No one jokes about God. It’s blasphemous. It’s okay to have humor, but making God into a joke is another thing.

It's probably not necessarily connected to a specific meme, the first meme I thought of when I saw this preset was the Basketball Jesus meme but there's no basketball and no skateboard either - so it just leaves us to conclude that Jesus himself is the meme being depicted 😐

I have a Christian household but I don't really find this disrespectful as there are many other shows and videos that have similar stuff (plus not everyone is Christian so this stuff is not targeted and everyone has different religious beliefs)
Okay? Just because you don't find it offensive doesn't mean it's not for others, and it is very targeted towards Christians, you don't see anyone making fun of a buddist statue. Neither of these guys are really Jesus and I don't think Luni was literally basing the Jesus meme preset literally on Jesus. Otherwise I would think Luni would know better than to make Jesus white and randomly put him in the meme section.

At first I thought it wasn't that bad but it still felt off to me. The reason why I thought it wasn't that bad at first is because the pose reminded me of the baller meme on roblox (the fact that it has the man roblox face make me think that too), and considering there was a whole other meme of "Jesus ballin'." I thought the preset was referring to that and then proceeded to ignore it, not thinking much of it.
Then I saw this video, you made your points and showed the description of the preset and, yeah... Hopefully whoever made it hasn't done it with bad intentions..

I know the person who made it apologized but it's heartbreaking that people hate Christians and decide to poke around and make fun of our lord and savior. I actually desinstalled gl2 for this thing, huh i didnt knew how to feel i that moment. The world has decided, that Jesus is free game (to be mocked). I have seen worse, look up 'Damar Hamlin Jacket'. I was not amused 🤦♀️. Also just looking at the gacha character reminded me of a video that i has seen when I was younger (like probably around 10 or something). My older siblings (Who were adults at the time) actually showed my parents, these kind of videos, and they actually *laughed* at it (it was a video whet a man dressed up as jesus, crown of thorns and all, who takes off his garment goes around singing a secular song on the streets, then get hit by a bus) The video was for 'entertainment purposes' , according to my parents (like satire). At first I did laugh (because I did not understand nor knew God at the time, I thought it was funny). Now that I'm saved, and in the word of God more, I have come to the realization that the man in the video was mocking Jesus. I'm horrified at what I had done, and I thank God for forgiving me for laughing at him. We need to keep praying for all.

When I first saw the preset I thought it was just a joke but the more I looked at the preset and the presets details it seemed like it was definitely not a joke, it just didn’t sit right with me luni probably should’ve thought twice before approving this, this preset is outright and disrespectful I hope luni removes this preset.

Jesus has been a meme way before Gacha life 2, why is it suddenly now an issue? No clue if Luni is a Christian or not, but again, Jesus has been a meme before this. I was religious when I was younger. I no longer have these beliefs and don’t get involved with the church for personal reasons and experiences. I still do not think this is okay. I wouldn’t be okay with any other religions being portrayed in a way like this, so I wouldn’t be okay with it here. That said, the creator of this preset has apologized and said they did not want to have it be a joke and be with meme presets. In their comment on this video, they said they would try to have it moved to something like the celestial presets. I don’t know how GL2 works as I am currently unable to get it, but I do believe that they are trying to get their preset out of the meme category.

Yeah that didn't sit right with me. Tbh I chuckled a little and said to myself, 'at least it's not actually Jesus', because it's proven he didn't look like that, but even still, the intention was still there and I don't like when people mock others religions
