Bagnasco & Casati Maple J-45

This slope shoulder dread takes inspiration from the (few) banner Gibson j-45s from 1945 that shipped from the Kalamazoo factory with laminated maple back and sides. This guitar sports solid maple back and sides, instead. Moon logged and air dried. Just like the Euro red spruce (Picea Abies) top and braces. The 3 piece poplar/mahogany neck keeps straight thanks to a double 'maple V' + carbon fiber rod. Something that we haven't seen so far and that we decided to go for because our client asked for a skinny neck. Think skin pure cellulose finish and a pure celluloid firestripe pickguard complete the package. One day maybe .
Only thing is there doesn’t seem to be much saddle height above the bridge I was wondering if you intentionally set the neck angle like this for a reason.

We shoot for a 2,5 - 3,5 mm saddle above the bridge, which is where the saddle on this type of guitars is supposed to be
