I’m beyond DISGUSTED by Mayor Bass Gov Newsome and all of the failed preparedness for this massive disaster based on the horrific leadership in one of the greatest states in our country that they are largely responsible for burning to the ground both in real life and in other ways SMH. I am so hurt for the people of LA and the surrounding areas. Your leadership has enormously failed you. This didn’t have to be quite this way 🥺🥺🥺
You know, if the whole city winds up getting leveled, then this becomes a _great_ opportunity to redesign Los Angeles. Watch Not Just Bikes for a refresher course on how to design a city. Get rid of most cars/trucks/etc. and make everything bicycle-friendly. Stop the suburban design madness that led to this disaster and start designing cities for communities, not large, heavily congested suburban-laden zones that take 3 hours to get anywhere and cost a fortune to own a tiny piece of property. On the plus side, the homeless problem gets solved by making _everyone_ homeless.

We all know how this happened: Farmers drew far too much groundwater out of the ground to water largely unnecessary crops like grapes. Everything living above depends on groundwater reserves below and it takes decades to restore groundwater. There are way too many people living on the west coast, we are consuming too many resources too fast, and we need Star Trek material replicator technology...yesterday!
