Our friend had bowel and liver cancer they cut a big chunk out of the liver, it regrows 15 years on and he is fine. You got this 💙
My husband is 23 years after bowel cancer which had spread to the liver. We count our blessings.

@@Maio955 My husband had part of his bowel removed July 13 1999 with no colostomy bag needed and then in the November he had 3/4 of his liver removed. The anaesthetist said it would grow back in 6 weeks. When I asked how did it know when to stop, he said he had never been asked that before but thought it was when the space was filled. He had one night in Intensive Care (planned) and about two weeks on High dependency. About day 3 he turned yellow as his liver went into shock. The doctors said this wasn’t unexpected but we hadn’t been warned. When he was jaundiced he felt very grotty. He then had one week in a room on his own (he was a private patient in a NHS hospital (UK) really whilst his bowels got working again and the medication for that he said was the worst. But he had no chemo, radiation or anything, just the bits chopped out.
I might add he was told that he had probably had the tumour in his bowel for 10 years and the one on his liver for about 2. He had to regain his strength from the bowel op before they would do the liver.

I know how you feel. I’ve been through the journey when I was in my early twenties. You end up worrying about your family more then yourself. When I relapsed, I told my husband I didn’t want to go through the treatments again. In the end I did. I couldn’t bear to let him and my family down. I’m glad I did. This December will be 27 years. Please don’t give up. Stay strong. You have such a supportive boyfriend, mom and family. They will help you get through whatever you may face. God Bless!
I see a lot of people saying stuff to you like, we just want you to have a good life and of course we all want that, but I also want you to remember. Cancer does not determine rather or not you have a good life. You determine that and only you! No matter if you have to go through treatments again or not, that does not get to decide what kind of life you have. I been battling a disease since birth, I was categorized as “terminal” since the second I was born. My life expectancy was ten days! Ten days! But because of my faith, determination, family support. And medical team I have not only survived but thrived! Has it been easy? Hell no it hasn’t been easy. I cannot walk, crawl or even hold my head up, I lay flat on my back 24/7 and I am only 25 inches tall and 40 pounds, and no I’m not joking, I really am that size, im the size of a toddler. The disease I battle is extremely painful, I’ve almost died over a dozen times and I’ve had over 60 surgeries. Yes it has been hard but I’ve survived and that’s what matters. I’ve had a chance to watch my siblings grow up and get married and even have kids, I’ve watched my parents age and I myself have gotten to know what it feels like to love someone and be loved and experience what it is like to be a aunt and now have experienced what it’s like to be a published author. It is all incredibly to me, I was not supposed to live past ten days but here I am 37 years later! And still going baby 🙌 🙌 😂 that is American slang so I am not sure you will understand why I said baby and did the 🙌 hands but if you don’t understand it than google it lol. I am saying all this to say no matter how great or bad those results are it does not determine your happiness, you determine that 🙏😘 I am praying for you and your family though God bless 🙏😘

Dear sweet Tiffany! As I walk through this same exact Journey with my mother! Although I’m not personally battling I’m watching it 1st hand and I’m here to tell you! YOU WILL BE OK!!! After surgery my mom had 6 liver tumors come back up & 2 lung! For whatever reason that is where CC metastasizes! The liver is highly operable a lot of times! My mom has made it through there are many options for liver metastasis!!! YOU ABSOLUTELY GOT THIS

Although she is cancer free, she is high risk for it to return. I'm afraid as well but we must keep going forward and stay positive . I think you are right to just block out the negativity and enjoy what you have now. My heart and prayers are with you and my daughter. Keep smiling and shine bright as you do!!! Tiffany a new issue does not always mean negative results. However, as a person who has walked your cancer journey I know how you feel. This is what it's like living with a cancer diagnosis. Once you get your scans, your confirmed diagnosis then the unknowing is now confirmed. All you can do is keeping fighting this fight. Tomorrow is another day. Advice..do not try to pretend this huge Elephant is not in the room..if u feel like talking about your fears..talk about it with Matt. He is your soul mate.

You’re amazing Tiffany. When I’m ill I just stay at home and mope, but you just keep going! You will get through this. You are young, you are otherwise healthy, we’ve got this! Don’t feel bad about taking this break…the scan couldn’t be any sooner anyway so if you stayed at home you’d just be worrying. Right now you’re feeling good, you’re with Matt, just have fun!
Have a lovely holiday Tiffany and Matt! Keeping you both uplifted in prayer. Enjoy this time now the resort is absolutely gorgeous!!! Take things one step at a time. One thing that I will suggest after the MRI of the liver would be to get a biopsy of both the lung and liver as scans may show lesions but until there is a biopsy done you aren’t going to be 100% sure that it’s cancer. Worry about that when you get back from holiday.

Tiffany none of this is your fault unfortunately this disease can at times be relentless. Your doctors are on top of this. The lung at 11 millimeters is just a little over 1 centimeter and the liver is even smaller at 6 millimeters. There can be things like nodules caused by sarcoidosis which can show up in the lung and are basically benign but can give shortness of breath, but you don’t seem to be having any of that. You will get through this your Tiffany thinks family will be supporting all of you 100%. Hugs to you both!

The first place was Monastiraki. It's the most popular place of Athens for tourists and locals. And yes, it's usually busy like that, especially the weekends. My good friend (we are from USA) lived on Crete for eight years after college graduation. He returns nearly every summer to the mountains outside of Athens or to Crete to visit friends who have become family. ❤
Both my siblings and I all have been told we have benign liver growths. They are common from what I've heard, so this may not even be anything to worry about. Wishing you the best! Glad you enjoyed your lovely vacation!
@@ingevonschneider5100it’s great to be positive but some people are just being unrealistic. If there’s cancer in liver and lungs then she’s stage 4. Not curable only treatable.
@@ingevonschneider5100 They don't know if it IS a metastasis yet, there are still more tests to be done. And even if it is, that DOES NOT mean it can't be healed! Plenty of people have been in this situation and after treatment, they have been healed and gone into remission. There is an especially good chance when it is found early and is still small.
@@ingevonschneider5100 I think she is trying to be positive in saying hers are benign and so tifs might be, some people don’t realise that when you’ve already had cancer that it’s classed as secondary colon cancer in the liver & lung,but yes you’re Totaly right in saying these comments although trying to help are really not helpful at all , she’s in a worse position now than she was 12 months ago, poor girl it’s so sad that she’s only had a few months worry free,now the fight is back on… praying for them all 💙

You're 100% correct but that's been the problem throughout her entire cancer journey. I have no choice but to deliver bad news to my patients all the time but I am Honest. I give a realistic prognosis and I tell them to expect/plan the worst case scenario so that they are prepared for everything that is coming. You can always be pleasantly surprised later but it's not so pleasant to hear shocking bad news. This certainly doesn't mean she's going to die tomorrow but she has a terrible prognosis and facing that head on will help her through these shocking moments that frankly aren't so shocking. I pray for a miracle for Tiffany.

I know it's hard you worried about them but it's the reverse happened you would be there for them just as much as they are for you so don't feel guilty it's not your fault it's no one's fault go and enjoy your holiday don't stress until you know cuz it may not be what you think

Tiffany, it is amazing what they can do these days. My husband had bowel cancer that spread to his liver - 5 lesions, the largest over 2cms, they removed 70% of his liver and it regenerated. Two years later, 2 tumours appeared in his right lung, more chemo then they removed one lobe of his lung and also a chunk of his lung, currently cancer free. Your doctors will have a plan going forward. My husband also did not want to do chemo again but it’s a means to an end, you will get through it.
I understand your fears, Tiffany. I had a lesion on my liver. Turned out to be leftover blood accumulated on my liver from a previous surgery. So it could be nothing at all. Try not to worry until you have to. And if you do need chemo, you are strong. You got this, baby girl!

Thanks for taking us on your Greek getaway. It looks lovely. Makes me want to go there. When my cancer returned I had the same instinct and wanted to get away and went on vacation to Africa before starting my treatment. I had yet another recurrence less than 1 year later and had lung nodules so was stage 4 but after chemo, I'm now 3 years NED. I also did and still do the Care Oncology protocol on the side to help prevent metastasis happening again. I wish you good luck as well.💙💙💙

She will find out results next Thurday if her cervical cancer has spread. My son is a nurse and he is all to pieces. But we got this with her. Family pull together at times like this. Aaah Tiffany. You make me scared when you say you don’t know if you can do chemo again. You can - you are so incredibly strong and resilient and you can do this. It’s not easy, I know but you are going to face it head on and get through it like you did last time. You are one amazingly strong awesome human and YOU GOT THIS. It's only the second stage and not shared publicly normally.
I have faith she will process her options once known.
Really hoping they have Proton radiation therapy there. Depending on findings could be game changer before chemo.

It’s coz chemo is hard going my mum had it and after 2 sessions she said she couldn’t do it anymore she was so unwell with it. She has been in remission for 5 years now.
Remember Tiffany, cancer is a war. When the war is won it’s after 5 years of scans, bloodwork that are NED. Then you have won with 5 years of NED, which is called remission. Your surgery took off a big burden of your cancer load, but only after 5 years will you know if you won. Be gentle with your self, I have bben there with close family 3 times. You war was not done with your surgery, keep fighting.

Greece is such a wonderful spot, I’ve been to Athens and Delphi, but would love to visit the beach areas as well. Can’t wait to see your update on Sunday. Greece is beautiful I’ve been there my sister has a house there. I can’t wait to go back one day and people stay up late because everything closes in the afternoon.
Both hotels are absolutely stunning! And you and Matt are honestly the cutest couple. I love seeing you so happy! That looked like a lovely, relaxing, and memorable vacation. You both deserved it. Still praying for you!
It’s hard but try to keep a positive attitude, my cousin was diagnosed with brain bone and liver cancer over 18 months ago and is terminal was given less than a year, but so far her markers have reduced so much and the liver and brain have responded to treatment , she is still here and living life! Keep pushing, keep fighting!
Hopefully it's nothing to worry about tiff my husband was told he had a suspect shadow on his spine and that it was probably a cancer growth but after a deep bone xray it was just a bone spur Hopefully it will all be fine for you as well all good wishes have a great holiday xxxx
If you go to Spinalonga, you should read the novel 'The Island' by Victoria Hislop, because it's based on Spinalonga, which is a former lepper colony, and it's super interesting! It tells the story of a young woman who triumphs in the face of illness. Now, who does that remind me of?!

had a liver metastasis from my colon cancer. They cut it out and i've been over a year clean since. no chemo needed. i'm not sure about lung and liver but I do know my oncologist said those are the only two organs they can still go for cure on. as long as the spots are small and limited cure is still possible, although low. But like my oncologist said. people walk through that door every day and never have to look back. they even reversed my ostomy and I've regained some sense of what I used to be before Colon Cancer.
Does it frustrate you when people call you strong and brave? What choice does one have? I think they’re just projecting. There’s nothing brave or strong by going through something that is beyond our control and just wanting to survive; it’s just very tough.
No explanations needed, darling. We love you. This is your journey. Nobody walks in your shoes.💙🙏🏻

Dearest Tiffany, don’t be scared of liver operation just in case if you need it because it’s not as difficult as the operation you had at all darling. My dad had half of his liver removed and it wasn’t painful at all for him recovery was easier faster and trust me you have already finished the most difficult operationtreatment and chemo and you have done it very well. Also you look and sound so healthy thank God.
Please remember you got over the most difficult ones already and the rest will be easier quicker and your strong body and soul will get over these too with our love and prayers.
We love you Amma and Matt and nothing bad is gonna happen. Good things are coming on your way. Don’t forget 16 weeks until Christmas and I can’t wait to see you wrap presents🧿🧿🧿🧿 and decorate your home and feel cozy with your hot chocolate again. ❤❤❤🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞

I know exactly how you feel. It is very difficult thinking about the trauma for your family. Then thinking about more chemo is impossible. I felt the same when I was told I had lesions on my liver. My original diagnosis was ovarian cancer. Fortunately mine turned out to be a cyst. I pray that you will have the same good fortune.

I have not been to Greece yet. But Italy is beautiful. There are so many small towns with beautiful churches. And the people are so warm. On the way back from Venice, we stopped in a village. There was a party there to raise money for the church tower. I can hardly speak Italian, they could hardly speak German, some English. But we communicated anyway. Away from the metropolises, you can experience the most beautiful things.💕

It was caught on time Tiffany, thank goodness for the scan. It has been such a short time that they will be able to fix it. I have a very good feeling, Tiffany. Relax and try your best to enjoy your trip. You have the strength to do this again, Tiff. I don't think your battle will be as challenging this time. It's just because of the organs that are impacted now. 6mm is quite small, so is 1cm. The liver can be cut away quite a bit and regrow. The lungs can also clear up very easily now with treatments available. Think positive babe, you got this. A lot of therapies for lung and liver could also possibly be done orally. The next treatment might actually be surprisingly easier. All treatments are different and you're early. XXXX enjoy your trip, have some cocktails or mocktails and just be in the moment as much as you can. I know it's easy for me to say but YOU GOT THIS!!!💪💪👍💙💙💙

I’m worried because it wasn’t on any of her previous scans, so it’s something that’s appeared recently. ☹️ Hopefully it’s a hemangioma, cyst or abscess 🤞🏻
@tixie1895 I was in hospital for kidney cancer, left kidney n tumor removed, when my hermangioma was found. I also found my mom, grandma and numerous cousins have them. I pray that's what Tiff has

What a beautiful resort! I agree it does have a very clam 'spa vibe',with that clean and uncluttered look.Everything from the view and the pretty walking paths is gorgeous.
And the food you guys ordered looks so yummy. Greek cuisine is my favorite!

It is sweet of you to be concerned about your Mum and Matt, more than about yourself. I can imagine this is devastating news for all your loved ones. But at the end of the day, remember YOU are the patient. Pls take good care of yourself mentally, emotionally and physically too. Eat right, rest well so your body is able to get the best outcome possible from the treatment. Think about it this way, the best thing you can do for your loved ones is to get well. If you have had your scans, I hope you get good results and good news about options.
