A large mirror on the black wall could help bounce light if the darkness is unbearable.
Also change the color of the wall itself, then hang a decorative mirror

In my opionion the black wall isn't a problem. She just hasn't yet done anything with it. If she cares to hang a large mirror or painting on it as suggested it's going to make a big difference.

Other people might have great experiences with FedEx, but mine are exactly like yours. Footprints on a fragile package, being rerouted multiple times, and as a result is at least a week late. I no longer purchase from stores that use FedEx. Great video! Table looks beautiful!

First of all we all need some me time never apologize for that because each subscriber understand it. The table look great when we get exactly what we want . The black accent wall look gorgeous but now the table is dark , You can do a light gray accent wall and a round gray area rug with an accent color of your chairs. in the rug will brighten the area just my opinion , be safe and blessed.🌹

Suggestion: Take away the 2 chairs against the wall and replace it with a bench to open up the sapce and look less crowded. One with the same color sherpa fabric if you can find it would be perfect.

If you remove that rug and try to appreciate the beauty of your wood floors until you get that rug you desire; I think you will enjoy it more. The rug you have now scream inexpensive.

Don't Accept the hairline crack. It's DAMAGED. Clearly, the package was not handled properly by Fed Ex. Call the company about the damage tabletop.
The black wall is hideous, in my opinion. Clearly the space is small. But, that black wall makes it smaller and cheapens the look. The new table is beautiful. Definitely change the rug to a round rug.
I agree with bc about the damaged table. I love the rich wood table color rather than gray. I do like the black accent wall. A white framed mirror or artpiece could blend with chairs. Perhaps a white chandelier or light fixture. Try it with no rug in the nook. Your locs are lovely. Sage is a mess.

The table is gorgeous.. love the legs! I think the color is gorgeous. Can I suggest changing the wall color from black to something lighter (white/cream) something warm and bright will compliment the table. Right now they’re competing. And someone suggested removing two chairs and I agree that could work also. But the table is perfection! Honestly, I feel that your design style has evolved from gray. You tend to lean towards warmer colors and neutral. You should explore your love for color in paint color.
