  • Sedona is one of our favorite places in the Southwest to visit. It is unlike any place we have ever been, and truly never gets old. We could visit over and over again and always find new places to see, new rocks to climb, and new restaurants to enjoy! What turns a lot of people away from Sedona are the crowds (and this is TOTALLY understandable). We have all seen the videos of people lining up at Devil’s Bridge for hours just to get the iconic photo.
The truth is (from our perspective at least), is that the best views in Sedona are the lesser trafficked ones. Yes, Devil’s Bridge is cool, but there are HUNDREDS of other trails we would rather do in a heartbeat, and you can often have them all to yourselves!
We have been wanting to put this guide together for a while, so we hope it’s helpful! Here are some of the trails and places we visited, and a few others in case you’re looking for more!
If you get the chance to visit, please take care of Sedona and the surrounding areas! We all want this place to stay beautiful for years to come!

Great video! We are headed there in October and was wondering what the crowds are like during that month?

Watched your video & we just went to Sedona today. It was AMAZING!!! Awesome hikes, beautiful views! The only downside was the TRAFFIC. I don’t know how people who live there can go anywhere.

Any suggestions for Sedona in February with 2 12 year olds that you didn't already cover in the video?

If you prefer cool, but not cold, weather, what months are the best time to visit Sedona?

Think before you post: If you divulge where these local spots are, they won't be secrets for long anymore. Some things aren't worth the YT views!
