I'm from Green Bay, also former assessor and appraiser. These are not the greatest neighborhoods. Drugs, property crime, bars, homeless, occasional shooting, etc. It's not "Big City" bad, but I'd recommend checking them out at night. If you're thinking of buying and it's near an apartment complex or rental property, you should probably look at other areas.

Green Bay is a wonderful choice for cost of living and many people I have talked to describe a slower more community oriented pace of life to the places they were coming from.
@@LivingInGreenBay 100% agree, moved her from metro ATL about a month ago and GB is great! We ended up in Suamico a bit more out of the city of GB but super close enough for all the amenities of the city.

Even if they land in Suamico, Ledgeview, even Appleton, they are happy with the commute times because it's still under 30min mostly. Compared to their 1hr plus commute before.
When I grew up in Green Bay in the 1950’s, these were nice neighborhoods.
