We did leave the quarter in our cart for the next person when we left.
But your comment of "honey, let's go make a quarter" was offensive as we saw you take the quarter. After that I didn't watch any further to see if you left the quarter.

Totally agree. How cheap can a person be? I always put a quarter in and give it freely to someone,asking them to pass it on.
Please don’t make a quarter from someone’s kindness!! I always leave the cart in case someone doesn’t have a quarter. I don’t do it so someone can come behind me and take the quarter!!
Paying it forward - and a good deed without acknowledgement - taking that quarter was rude, disrespectful, and it's obvious he didn't need the quarter Shame on him.

It’s nice to find a cart when you don’t have a quarter, but it feels nice to share a cart with someone by leaving it!

Okay, so you left the quarter. But you took a quarter. Two buggies could have been left. You did the right thing about your cart but it doesn't cancel out that you took that rogue quarter.
At my Aldi, management prefers you go ahead and lock those carts up to keep them out of the street and from being stolen. If someone has forgotten their quarter, there's always someone ready to hand off their cart. Employees have also been known to give out a quarter if someone really needs it to do their shopping.
Every time I do this there is someone who takes every quarter left in carts for those in need. If Noone is coming up I don't leave anymore.

People say some Aldi stuf goes off quicker; I think its because of less preservatives used in their stuff which is a good thing.
We just had an Aldi open up in Thibodaux, la. They sent me a coupon in the mail $5.00 off a $30.00 purchase. Our Rouse's countered it by sending $10.00 off a $50.00 purchase. Win Win for me!
Don’t take those quarters! 😡😡😡 those are left for people who forget to bring a quarter. You should never take those. That’s like fishing for change in a wishing well. You just don’t do it!
You could have left that cart for a senior citzen or for someone else that may not have had a quarter

If you don’t have a quarter to put in,use a round key it works. Try the banana bread put cream cheese & make a sandwich out of it. It is delicious.I bought a George Formen yrs. ago for $4 and I still have it.

Easy to tell you do not shop Aldi very often. Within that community cart are "paid forward" to the next customer. You don't "make a quarter" for your fellow shopper.

Hi Steve and Peg, great Aldi haul! I still have never been to the new one just down the street from me. I had a George Forman Grill and I hated it! The problem I had was if you cooked the food according to the directions, the food didn’t look cooked. If you cooked it until it looked done, it was over cooked. I messed up a beautiful steak on that grill.I finally gave it away to a friend. Have a great week.❤️

We had a George Foreman grill. It was a pain to clean, didn't have the grates that came out. Donated it to Goodwill.
I have 2 George Foreman grills. One stands on end to save space. The other has removable grill plates for easy washing.
I had one and I used it but hard to clean!

ALDIs cinnamon bread not good. Aldis Hawaiian rolls don’t compare to Kings Hawaiians. Sour dough and Naan bread are good. The best bread ever is there Simply Nature Organic seeded Graintastic, worth the money and if you see it with red sticker, a must try.
SHAMELESSLY GREEDY to take 25 cents you don’t need! I leave my cart and quarter for people who need it, moms with kids, seniors and those in need.
