I understand very little about electronics but I watched this because it is weirdly close to my profession which is software engineering. The way I try to find "bugs" in our systems is almost exactly the same as in 14:00. If this and this won't work, then the problem must be here. If this does not work but that works, then the problem must be here. I don't know if this called deductive thinking or something, but it is fascinating. Yours, Is it too late to become electrician at fifty?
Yes the principal for troubleshooting anythings is, KNow the operation Know the components - in your case commands eliminate those that are working, if more than one thing is not working, then try to find out what they all hafve in common then eliminate one by one good or bad.
I'm watching the Basic Electricity 101 A video currently. It is getting more and more like troubleshooting bugs in software. We have to the fortunate benefit of being able to halt the software and go through it line by line, testing values and checking where the execution goes in decision points. But I guess washing machines a bit different because if you can't halt the execution in same manner. But yeah. These videos gave me ideas I can use in software development in the future. So many thanks for doing these!
This channel is called TMM appliance network The 2 business you refer to i own one. What made you think that based off businesses that had refrigerator repair in their descriptions aren't qualified.? what on the business pages made u arrive to that conclusion
@TMMApplianceRepair Hi Brandon, I saw the other TMM had reviews mentioning Devin. I was asking because I needed a new compressor installed and wasn't sure if both business were affiliated with TMM. So I didn't know which to call because maybe the other wasn't as qualified as you guys here.
