Thanks for this. The music should sound like this - replayed through the chain available at the time. All of the CD remixes do not sound like what the musicians heard then and are unsatisfactory.

Starting from 1:20 sound began to fluctuate "left right" An official video also has such effect which meaning is unclear

I had not noticed before how flanged the vocals are and guitars are, constantly moving between the left and right speakers. Did anyone else notice this?

Vinyl Is in serious bad conditions and sound Is somehow compressed. Very strange because the equipment seems very good..... And with bad conditions I mean that surface noise Is audible at the same level of recorded material
HI Phil! How does the Linn Adikt perform on the inner grooves, IGD or does it sail through? Thinking of buying one but a bit sensitive to IGD. Br Tobias

fantastic job as always phil. it's a classic song but listening to it closely, i surprised at how much i don't like the mix. the bass drum is too prominent. there is a swirling stereo effect on the double tracked and background vocals that i just find annoying. i wonder why i never noticed this before.
Yes, the mix must be different on later issues - I only really noticed it when recording the song too. A strange decision with the effect, that's for sure!
