Varg was truly multi-instrumental and made the best Norwegian black metal albums completely by himself with only 3 guest appearances. Euronymous only played and recorded guitar which he was great at but he was certainly not multi-instrumental and if he was he never proved it on record.
From Manheim: The concept of Langhus eksperimentelle gravkammerorkester (L.E.G.O.) was to celebrate absurdities and experimental concepts in music. We were huge fans of contemporary and avant garde music, and wanted to have side projects going in that direction. This particularly concert was the first concert with the L.E.G.O. project. It was partly to make fun of the rock competition concept which this concert was a part of, and partly a free spirit performance exploring the limits of playing instruments we didn’t play (well at least) and things that didn’t even give out a sound (As far as I remember I also played a dog whistle somewhere during the concert). What you see in the video is part of the concert. We exchanged instruments, I played violin for the first time in my life ever etc. The concert was around the theme “a flie’s death”, beginning with birth, ending with death, alas you can hear I say “the flie cries” in Norwegian So, this was foremost a humorous performance, but with a hint of seriousness. And a poke against all the people in the popular music/ rock industry in Norway at the time, that proclaimed what was the real thing (which we disagreed on of course).
Still you can hear the music ideas that later came into realisation much later.. All new genres start like this... Out of nowhere, or from beyond.. It´s typical..
The infamous rehearsal with Dead and Euro could be even better that this video but the 1st generation tape is in the museum now so it's not allowed to be published
This is hilarious, but all I have to say is Euronymous would've done so much more great music if he was still alive. Maybe he will come back as a musician again in another life, if there is such a thing.
@@Fireglo many people have died and came back to life and live on in new bodies with another soul. Have you ever felt like youre not yourself in any way, shape or form? That's the old soul calling from within. I have felt it, and i dont think their should be a scientific explanation for it...

Point being that a soul will find its way into another body and fuse with a new vibrant soul but can be obscure or manipulative like with memories you dont even remember occuring in your existing life, rather someone else's past that flashes.

But if what happened hadn’t and he was alive today, he’d have probably gone on to do One Man projects and they could’ve been bloody good. And what we’re privileged to see here are two artists who were friends ( at the time) and respected one another. And somehow understood one another in a way that it may be didn’t happen with some of the other musicians ............⚛️☮️ 🎸 🌏

There are also statements that Euronymous really wanted to give evidence to the police that Vikernes had burned the churches (Euronymous knew it first-hand) because he already sensed that Vikernes was going to kill him.
