      @in nxj Actually you’re wrong. CFCs caused a hole in the ozone layer and we stopped using them in the hole is going away.
      Humans have caused problems on earth and we have fixed a lot of them. But climate change has at least a dozen variables and scientist are clueless about each of them individually and even more clueless when it comes to their interaction together.
      The two things people use to prove man-made climate change is the hockey stick graph and models. Michael Mann manipulated the data when he created a hockey stick graph and that has been debunked and proven. The hockey stick graph is completely bogus. And for nearly 50 years to computer models using manipulated algorithms and manipulated data still can’t close to getting anything even remotely accurate.
      Man harm the environment? Absolutely. His man contributing to, change? Maybe. To some degree probably. But man is not causing climate change. And there is no, absolutely zero, proof or evidence to say otherwise. If it was people would believe it. If there was proof scientist would not manipulate the data and lie about it. That’s not what you do with the evidence is on your side.
      I suggest you read Bjorn Lomborg, Robert Bryce, Michael Shellenberger, and Judith Curry.

    Knowing people holding opposite views to "big/high tech", "space exploration", and "global warming" will never open a video/article with these key words in it, she is exploring a new way. By presenting evidence/facts to "support" her opinion of the title, she finds a way to force people with opposite views to accept the facts. Sometimes when we accept a opinion blindly just because one authority said so, we don't go deep to search for evidence. By trying hard watching her video to find reason why space exploration is bad, viewer ends up knowing more facts of what's going on. This is pretty brilliant!

Sea ice surrounding Antarctica reached a new record high extent this year, covering more of the southern oceans than it has since scientists began a long-term satellite record to map sea ice extent in the late 1970s." you can easly find this data on official NASA web page... but hey they have explanation there why its normal as well as here she have why there can be more snow... and how satelite can prove that hummans have anything to do with climate change? How there is no proper scientific model to predict weather nex year, month or even next week but somehow people like her trying to convince you that she have PHD so she knows what she is talking about... on wikipedia article "List of weather records" you can find "Coldest summer (month of July in the Northern Hemisphere): −33 °C (−27.4 °F) degrees; Summit Camp, Greenland on 4 July 2017.", do you know that climate on this planet have changed many times before hummans showed up? There was period of over 100 milion of years when earth was a big snow ball but somehow "climate deniers" are wrong because you should not use your brain and using knowledge from school is a sin that should be punished with mandatory tin foil hat on your head!

      Yeah I'm guessing she's in it for the money since I suspect she's smart enough to see though political science that wouldn't recognize the the scientific method if it slapped them in the face. There are things we can and have done that could harm the planet, or at least the life on it, like Freon emissions that started to eat away the Ozon-layer, but CO2, isn't that big a contributor to the greenhouse effect in the first place, all it does is make plants happier, not really the environmental hazard some would make it. And yes temperature has changed a lot, there's a reason old Egyptian cities are in the now barren dessert, it wasn't barren back then, since it was so much warmer back then Sahara had monsune rains. (And here in Sweden at the time we had nowadays Mediterranean fauna in the middle of Sweden). (Bronze age). People often bring up the melting glaciers, yes they have been melting since the last ice-age peaked about 20000 years ago, what should worry is if they stop melting.

Global warming is an extreme of all weather patterns. You don’t know any of this because you’re not a scientist. And neither am I. I trust professionals because they’re educated on the subject. It’s also the same reason you let trained doctors do surgery on you instead of witch doctors. All climatologists do is study weather patterns and factors that affect weather, from the dawn of time. She didn't talk about space exploration. Weather satellites pointed at the Earth, communication satellites to expand the internet and colonizing other worlds are all about space utilization. Exploration wasn't mentioned at all. But if the clickbait title draws people in, and the nearly amusing sarcasm keeps them around, then it's all good...

    What's the worst is that media will not tell you the North Pole is getting warmer while at the same time South Pole has been getting much colder. ships often getting stuck in the ice. You won't hear that in the media. And the obvious part that warmer clients make human beings thrive and colder climate makes people die.

    Ahhhh!!! Reading this comment section makes me so frustrated because a lot of people missed the point...
    The reason for the heavy sarcasm was to point out the flaws in the opposing argument while at the same time supporting her own. She kept with the sarcasm to draw in an audience that would actually pay attention to what she was saying. It drew in people that agreed with the title or people that were willing to hear her entire argument. The heavy sarcasm exists in this speech to take the opposing arguments and point out their flaws, not to be cool or annoying. -_-;
