coz this is no longer the game WOT as I used to know it 5-10 years ago. It has changed completely to a totally IRRELEVANT game that has nothing to do with World War history and the Simulation of the battled fought.

Let me add to this as well. Is it only me when I try to grind the new line, after activating 2 personal reserves I mostly get +2 matchmaking and I am on a losing team most of the games with occasional 2 lucky ones at the end of 1h session? It happens so often its not even funny. Then reserves are up and suddenly I am winning again...
I am glad I am not the only one noticing this. This happens to me everytime I turn on a booster. 😂

Re: the Battlepass tanks, I see they have nerfed the pen on the newer tanks guns, ensuring you HAVE to use premium rounds to make them work.

I used to want a skill-based MM (no pun intended!), but then I realized that a system like that would just push everyone toward 50% by lowering the win % of good players and raising it of the bad players. Sometimes there are just fast games. The only thing I can think of is increasing the armor or lowering pen of shells or both to make doing damage more difficult, so games last longer. I can see that frustrating many players though as they will have a hard time doing damage. It is a hard call.
Tier 8 match, Skill's team with a VK 72 and a Object 279e. Skill playing in that team (what does he have? 65% WR?). No wonder this was the result. The probability was huge. But, yes, this is often WoT.
I suspect that I will stop playing before Xmas. Even more with the new changes such as the Tour of Duty, the ridiculous looking cartoonish tanks and crews and all that.
I feel you mate... I resume playing this after a long gap and I see this is a totally different game now... Use Gold and Money tanks and ammo and you can play.. otherwise, uninstall and find a better game..

I play since 2015.The game is in worst condition 80-90% 15-4 or 4-15💩.At least I havent spent 1 € for years.

The Match Maker ist currently unbelievable bad.... tripple heavie platoons very often have tier 8 match making with their VZ55- o279 and so on. Yesterday i had 3 times in a row the same paltoon in my tier 9 match making...
Of course you play against tier 10 all the time because that's the only tier that still gets any attention from the game devs, so that's what people want to play. WG pushes people to play tier 8 premiums for credits and then tier 10 premiums for bonds, not to mention that the 2 or 3 balance changes they do in an entire year only affect top tier tanks. Tier 1-7 you're supposed to buy gold and free XP skip nowadays. Your T8 can't play against lower tier tanks if there aren't any people playing lower tier tanks.
The MM always been bad since beta days... just in a different way..but yeah
the worst thing that can happen to a gamer is realizing that his favorite game is no longer fun, I have more than 30,000 games and I no longer have fun, I prefer to do something else.thank you for your honesty

Started the game during the pandemic and while I admit it was a fun ride, there are too many things that keeps me from playing today. My main gripe is that most maps are too generic and really only favors heavy tank gameplay. Unfortunately heavies are my least favorite class as I find mediums way more fun, so I guess this game is not for me anymore. I still enjoy watching our King Baboon though.

You know what I would love to see? A PvE mode where 1 team if just players and the other one is full bots but with twice as much HP so potato and tomato players can enjoy the game more

I started to play WoT this afternoon and I got 2 or 3 battles like this in a row, but in the losing side. So I exited and played World of Warships. It's not much better, but at least battles are longer than 2 minutes.
Well, i pick up the game again 3 days ago and miss it on this. Very sad.
I came back to game, played 2 games. 1st game almost got Kolobanov but because I haven't played for half a year my skill was rusty. Second game clutch win with good team work.
I have stopped playing for a long time, I appreciate the honesty about the state of the game. I will still watch your videos, I don't know what it is that brings me back, they seem comforting to me.

Everytime it happens, you get a - on your matchmaking, and - can only battle -?
Matchmaking on winrates will get boring over time.

Funny because myself I've been noticing less 15:0 matches in the past few months
the MM is a problem, a bigger problem is the mission based game play, load in to do mission , banzai the bush, rush your opponent. if you die fine you will be in another game in seconds, if you hit lucky (and die) then that's 2k damage and 700 to XP total for the days battle pass, 3 games like that and your done in ten. there is no such thing as a safe bush if your opponent doesn't give a shit .

Yesterday played for 5k combine for 16 games and i got 37% winrate
yeah that is my typical sessions as well... i stopped playing a few weeks ago just finished the onslaught weekly, and now im kinda done with the game
You're actually not allowed to play at the moment. Either you wait and play gently, then you won't take any damage and you'll leave with nothing, or you accelerate (W) and be rolled over in 3 minutes. I currently have a win rate under 40%. You can do 4 or 5K damage and you lose because 8 people don't do any damage.
I also notice very quickly if we should lose if the first shot just ricochets or goes somewhere else.
Then I would rather go into the water.

Just for Skill... I logged in game played first game in two years... I managed to do whooping 245 damage with my T5 heavy tank... Just for skill. Man, I am too used mechanics of that other tank game, lol...

Did you upgrade it? Unless upgraded with 3 million credits it only gives the usual 5% bonus.
@@squirebalo9357 there upgraded and no 7.5 bonus nor does it show up at all in vent catergory , yet basic vents and Bond vents do , showing bonus and under vent catergory !
Cant expect more when u had a VK and 279e in your team.!! But after they changed Tour of Duty and force people to Plutoon my experience is that its bcome more unequal games since 1 team most often get the better Plutoon and its gg.!!!!
60.000 battles player here. I left the game 4 years ago. No regrets, my mental health is way better and my pockets in a better shape. Still watching Skill and Mailand daily.

i wish skill had the resources to run a tank game seeing as how he does the index page and knows a ton of stuff that would fix and make this game better i would definitely play his tank game as would i think thousands of others, world of tanks is going down the drain and the writing is already on the wall and it has been for a long time but some people are nieve and ignore this fact, even skill amongst others have said it's game over many times

15-2 Simulator is 100% mm fault
pretty sure theres always been a MM problem with premium account inflating stats of xp average by 50% making average players look like great players and good players who play for free look like average tomatoes, so not rare to have team that is led by a tourist with an ebay rating, and also a team led by an actually great player that has lots of other strong players that dont use premium , it used to be somewhat balanced but the premium account inflating accounts often made MM a joke
then around 2017 they started to heavily implement spreadsheets and popularity to make their balance decisions which ruined MM because usually the popular tanks were the OP premium tanks being released, many of which were being used by the kind of people to buy them so they could get better stats aka donkeys, so the MM looks at the popular tank like BZ176 and the overall average WR is used in the MM, ignoring if the player themselves are garbage or not
Wargaming employed a lot of people that were too smart for their own good and had no real sense, no intelligence. these people basically put into motion the money grabbing strategies like lootboxes and spreadsheet based on popularity to intentionally make the games faster and less enjoyable (so idiots would get stressed and buy OP tank or lootboxes) their methods are lacking in humanity and are intentionally aimed at the 1% who cannot control their wallets like gambling addicts, they get the vast majority of all money from these people and its very sociopathic, you just have to look at the asian servers and youll see a far worse practice of this kind of thing, it demeans people and spoils an otherwise playable game.
Some companies make games to be playable, some companies turn their game into an exploitation device to farm the vulnerable and Wargaming is firmly the latter.
Really sucks for the 99% of the player base who has watched Wargaming not give a single F about the game balance in many years even though we can ignore the lootboxes etc we still get depressed trying to play it with expectations of a fair game. thats the real crime.

I created my WOT account all the way back in 2012. I have been playing the game on and off for the past 12 years. Honestly, each time I returned I enjoyed the game more, it used to be just pure grinding, now its more fun i feel. Obviously there are problems, but everyone who has been playing for at least 5 years will know that there pretty much always has been talk about how the game is "dying". While I agree that the games can be quick these days as well as other issues, I still think that WG have done a reasonably good job maintaining it for such a long time (various cash grabs aside). For everyone who has not played for a while I would recommend coming back and giving it a go :) And to watch Skill's amazing content, obviously ;)
Im a beta tester as well, and being going on and off for the past 12 years as too, Wot is a game i would never recommend to a new player though.... the only reason i play now and then, is because i have time invested all this years...otherwise, the experience playing wot isnt that great. Also the game is very predatory as business model goes. Its a rare moment where i can actually have fun playing this... watching Skill play is much more entertaining

I do like skill as commander, I have 2 versions both got for free in the past, when game is stressful and you aim a shot and then you hear skill say "got dem" it is cheering me up and making me play better with less stress, nearly all the other special voice commanders are full cheese and painful to listen to (recently removed a 4 perk commander and replaced with basic one because it was making me want to aim the gun at my own head listening to the crap)
Only good ones are skill, buffon (and girls und panzer because they are so ridiculous how can take the game seriously with them xD just makes me laugh)

I stoped playing until the fix the balancing. Simply I have zero desire to play. Seens they will not fix balancing so a lot of players are getting out, for the good of them and the game.

Also yeah, as much as i love czechoslovakian heavies overall, TT-130M is falling behind in comparison to other ones, sad but true, 777 and AE Phase are much better. I won't even elaborate on 15:2 simulator, it's so true that it hurts honestly.
totally agree skill... its so unbalanced and the player base has devolved. Yesterday 3 BZ-176s (not platooned) on one team, on a 6,7,8 tier game.... just ONE example. 5H in one game sits in back whole game, 2000 level player. Just gets tiring, especially when you add in constant STUNS from arty. rant off.
