Our contractor uses a Kuhn, Baler / Wrapper combo, does a good job. I was impressed with pickup, good at picking up short material. We have a Kuhn Tedder/ Mower/ Fert Spreader and Straw chopper, well made and lasts. The chopper is 20 years old and not caused us much bother ever. Thanks for a great video Richard.
Don’t rule out Vicon balers I’m on my third now doing 15000 bales a year they make a really good solid bale in all crops and will even make perfect bales in chaff out of the back of an axle flow, can’t fault them and I’ve tried most other makes but always stick with the Vicon
New job for Ollie, he could be a whitevan man with that tailgating 😂😂😂not that i would do anything like that😮. Great Sunday viewing for us as it raining and not much gardening happening today.
We've had some right humdinger thunderstorms down here in East Anglia today. Mind you, took the wife out for drive across to Old Felixstowe and we didnt get a drop, gorgeous day. It's looks up you way chap. A right bl00dy challenge. Good luck!
Go for Kuhn, watch four winds farm they do silage, hay and straw it eats it all, they love there's think they have done 3 seasons with very few problems and high bale count.
Always nice when you make a decision to do a job and you’ve got kit in yard to do it. Nice crop of maize make up a bit for lost wheat crop in grain an straw
Anyone else thinking them biscuits just got left outside 🤔
Should be nice feed
Know a few people with mchale balershaving problems don't know much about kuhn

Would you consider a mchale fusion they are the night and day difference to single baler and wrapper
Mchale is the only baler , Kuhn have to many censors and electrical shite
Would you try direct drill the maize with the moore drill?
had a Kuhn now run a Mchale is a better stronger built baler and will bale anything as long as you can get it under the tractor great video as always
Very well organised field work Richard. An impressive sight seeing 4 tractors in one field, and glad you got the job done.
Feed value of green wheat 🤔

Those bales will be better than a snowball next winter(or later this winter).Put down plenty rat bait or the bales will be destroyed.
I think you have done a good job there.Be careful of birds and rats,we did some once and had awful trouble!
