The rear canopy will create a lot of air resistance. The shape has to be aerodynamic with least wind resistance to give better speed and fuel efficiency.

I would have preferred the aluminium sheets on the trunk instead of tarpaulin/cloth for better asthetics & safety.

very informative..looking for a camper myself w/o breaking the bank..questions foll:
1- how did you get a white plate private number -- isnt this only a yellow plate commercial vehicle? did tatas/rto create any objections?
2- did you say it doesnt have a airconditioning by default? doesnt the 2024 yodha come with airconditioning factory fitted?
3- please suggest a good, reliable but economical vendor for building the full camper body -- proper bed, kitchen, shower setup -- with approx costs?

Brother with this vehicle we even can build something big if we use perfectly there's huge space upon driver cabine for storage space/bed/water storage/ hunter lights/ solar panel for additional power
Please remove driver backside seat and attach with the body to extend additional storage for various storage spaces like battery space/inverter/cng gas

Its better than Isuzu in terms of maintenance and availability of spare parts all over India.
Bcoz i saw one vlog of Vivekji usme Uttarakhand me kahi remote terrain pe unke sath ke uncle ki Isuzu D max ka clutch playe fail ho gayee, koi mechanic aaya lekin wo repair nahi kar paya due to unavailability of spare parts.
Bad me wi gadi 350 kms flat bed pe tow karni padi.
So i think tata ya mahindra r best options for such type of terrains.
Having done 7000+ kms in this strip out of which almost 4000 was offroad or no road. Yodha is a superperformer

Bahut hee lajawaab!! Will recommend to my son definitely. The best part is one need not stand out n cook. Also it has still lot of space after the build of the bed & the kitchen. It will definitely give better option than eeco van.

meri khoj aaj jake poori hui, mai soch raha tha ki tata yodha crew cab ko koi camper kyun nahi banata, mai bahut dino se khoj raha tha koi banaye to mai bhi banau. saara research done hai, isse badiyan gaadi nahi hai camper k liye.
mai nayi yodha 2.0 crew cab ka 4x4 varient ka wait kar raha. uska interior car jaisa hai.
Yodha 2.0 they are not manufacturing 4x4 that is y I had to buy this

Bhai ordinary Indian folks are far away in camping as compared to Americans and Europeans or Japanese. Simply because not only we can't afford the cost of such camper vehicles but also we don't have such technology and companies manufacturing such types of vehicles which is fitted with bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator, heating and cooling system etc. Furthermore, we don't have such culture and regulations and arrangements in current time in India. But in near future, it is going to improve and emerge with novelties.

@@FirstIndianCamper true, but after 3-4 years Tata would demand a heavy maintenance and Yodha is not doing well in its segment compared to Bolero.
I am looking forward to build a camper van maybe on a 20 seater T2 traveller or if Yodha is good then on it.
What would you suggest?
Though 4*4 is not a priority because I have completed a Spiti trip in Nissan Sunny and it did a fair job so I guess any vehicle could do the same with a high ground clearance.
