Baltimore Bridge Collapses After Cargo Ship Slams Into Base | Insider News
You work for 40yrs to have $1m in your retirement, Meanwhile some people are putting just $10k in a meme coin for just few months and now they are multi millionaires. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
I'm favoured financially, Thank you Jesus $32,000 weekly profit regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
Thanks to Mrs Maria Davis.

That's an irrational fear, do you have any idea how many people cross bridges daily and make it across just fine?
Show how much the media really care, they talked about everything but the people in this horrific accident
They don't really know anything about the people yet. The authorities haven't recovered the bodies yet.
Maybe this particular video was not intended to pry into the lives of those lost out of respect for their families who may not yet even know.
There is important factual information in this video. It is notable that the ship issued a distress call soon before collision as there was a malfunction. Although the bridge was up to code, there was clear structural weak point. Studying this will help us build safer bridges.
They haven't even recovered the bodies yet. The authorities won't release any information about the victims until then so there's nothing for the news to report about them yet.
I was thinking the same thing
I live in Baltimore, this is nowhere near the biggest bridge in Maryland ... the Chesapeake bay bridge is a thing
That's cause news outlets don't do research. They just make their articles sound catchy by saying 'biggest' instead of 'second largest'
Okay.....does that change anything
Pretty near, second only to the Chesapeake. The main span of 1,200 feet (366 m) was the third longest span of any continuous truss in the world. It was the second-longest bridge in the Baltimore metropolitan area, after the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
@@iamlegend1482I guess you don't like your news to be factual

And MAN is that going to a long pain to clean up and rebuild.
Apparently the bridge was closed to traffic at the time, and there were 8 workers on the bridge fixing potholes. They found two of the survivors that plunged into the water, but six workers are still missing.
I heard news somewhere that the ship provided mayday call moments before collision and due to that traffic was stopped for the bridge. But then why those workers were allowed I don't know

extensive investigation against all captains
I think that the ship targeted the bridge because it looks like it turned off all the lights, pressed full throttle, and rammed the bridge.
This should be a wakeup call for the safety of all bridges and related in this country
The problem is that the supports of the bridge stand on very small concrete islands, and they should have made them bigger when those container ships got bigger and heavier.
Here in Holland this can't happen because all bridge supports have these big concrete islands and under water there's another layer of concrete surrounding those islands
in the shape of a upside down funnel, so when a ship would hit that, it would bounce right off.
