Jorge, you are the king of decorating! You need your own home decor show, yesterday! You are easily one of my favorite UA-camrs! Keep shining superstar! -HDG
Honestly, your honesty is why I love your videos. Your fails, your “l didn’t feel like removing all of the staples” talk is just real. Oh, I love your projects too. You are definitely a talented kinda guy. 👍🏽 Keep on keeping on.
The photo is beautiful. Would you be open to using a thick, black floating frame around it to pull from the lighting fixture? I think it would add balance and a little size to it which I think it needs on that wall. I agree, a different color of flowers like white or cream with some fresh green leaves would look amazing.
The dining room looks fantastic! I don't think I could pick a favorite thing because there are so many beautiful things to love! I really like that you mix new with vintage and diy. Very elegant, yet lived in look!
Your work keeps getting better and better. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Your home size is REALISTIC which I totally appreciate. Buen trabajo!
It looks so pretty. Love the chairs and your photo is fantastic. Maybe a tall plant next to your shelving unit might help appear more centered. Love your style.
Loveeee 😻 the way that this "oversized" light wood table actually kinda make the space bigger + paired with those pierre jeanneret looking chair....you did the amazig job 💪🏻
Sticks. Put some sticks in there - you know, when you grab them from the yard. You've used them before in some of your vases and it's perfection. I just love when you do the sticks.
I agree with Robin Clark. Especially about the floral arrangement. Neutral colors would be better. I also like her idea for adding a floating frame around your photo. I love the photo. It’s gorgeous!
Love it all! I am especially impressed with how you turned those HD cabinets into such a beautiful piece. It looks like a very high end piece. I am in awe of your talents!
Love! I have an over developed need for symmetry. But I never even noticed that the (beautiful) storage unit isn’t centered. I also think there’s no need to put anything to fill the space next to it. Plus you’re right that by doing so would create a tight space for the dining table. I’m betting a future DIY wall art piece of yours makes itself a home there one day. I can’t believe you had the patience to fix up 12 chairs! You’re magnificent. And so are the chairs. And this makeover. ♥️
Great makeover! I would prefer a more vintage looking credenza to mix it up a bit, but other than that I loved it! So glad I found your channel! Looking forward to many more makeovers 😘
I think that bare wall behind the dining table called for a gallery wall of your wonderful abstract art, Jorge. And that little stool should be above the vent (letting air through) with a sculptural potted plant on top. You are tasteful and down to earth, Jorge. Gracias por mostrar tu casa, desde España.
Jorge, I like your way of having a sense of humor about how you go about changing your decor! Especially get tickled by "boob light" comment!😅 redo looks wonderful!
I don’t think the pulls are too much at all, I actually love them! Throughout the video I kept thinking that I loved the way the cabinet was positioned over in the corner. It gives it a cool, asymmetrical look. I think if you had centered it, it would have left a strange open space in the corner. You did a great job, I love all the colors, I love all your choices ❤❤
Love how this turned out and also the light fixture that was there before😊 And since you asked, the flowers doesn’t seem to fit into the aesthetic, (although they are gorgeous) I could see one of your modern minimalist DIY pieces fitting perfectly! Bueno. 🧡
I just discovered your channel and i gotta say im OBSESSED.. i like your energy and how realistic you are in making things, all other DIYers tend to justify too many things bcs of what ppl are sayingg.. i like your 'i dont care' ness, not everything has to be justified 😂👍🏻 keep up the energy and cant wait for your future projects!
I would love to see your family reactions to your reveals. Can you do that for the kitchen make-over????? I love you DIY'd your 12 vintage chairs! You surprised me by going darker with the stain; fabulous 😍
Hello Jorge I seriously love all your diys they turn out very beautiful and designer. And like so many people said I love your honesty!🙏🏽 I love that I can see you diy throughout your home😍. I think that a set of 2 pictures on the empty space next to the cabinets, Stack some art one above the other. Can be vintage or otherwise. Everything turned out beautifully 👍🏾👍🏾
I agree that your photography needs a frame that’s wood tone used in room or chunky. I love the piece you have over your couch in living room can see on video. That would look good in dining room wall and then put your other piece over the credenza. A large mirror on a wall would brighten the space too since you only have sunlight from one direction. Love the pantry hacks. They are stunning
Jorge you are so inspiring and I love how you tie in everything in interior decorating. Your DIY skills are impressive too! I would only add that the light fixture could be placed even higher towards the ceiling and try hanging a portrait wall art instead of a landscape...it'll give the illusion of more vertical space. Love the table and credenza and those chairs are really just absolutely beautiful!!
I bought a mid century dining room set. I painted the cane and chair in black spray paint and recovered seats in smokey taupe faux leather. I don't think I removed the original fabric either...lol!
I have watched four or five of your videos this morning including do it yourself art and I’m finishing up with this one! You are totally amazing very creative and you can do just about anything! I absolutely have loved watching your projects come together! And I wouldn’t worry about that consul being off-center because asymmetrical is part of the Japandy look! Love it!
Wow I loved this makeover Jorge !! Just amazing and I didn't even notice the water cooler until you mentioned it to be quite honest. Those cabinets are gorgeous
Love the space! That dining light is perfect! Just a quick opinion, you should try adding some art beside the offcentre cabinets, I think that might visually break that white wall and make the cabinets look more intentional. Also sorry one more opinion, I think what’s a little bit off is that photo which you framed, I think the size of that art piece is a bit awkward on that wall, but the photo is beautiful, there has to be a better place for it :)
Great video! I really like the mix of the wood and that everything was not perfectly matched. It gives an eclectic feel. Your mix of old and new furniture made the space pop. I like that you DIY’d the chairs. They turned out great! Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed the 2 part makeover! So smart to spend the money on that awesome dining table! It’s a true statement. The storage cabinets is the perfect addition. You really have a good eye and it seems; you stay true to yourself ! PS … I love the floral arrangement
I think if you hung art work above the light switch next to the off center storage it will center it all and make everything look more intentional. But even without anything there you did an amazing job!!
Love! I would want to run my hand over the table any time I passed through. YES, please post video on your photography wall art. Perhaps you could sell copies to us, it's gorgeous. Keep those videos coming por favor.
Great Video👍🏿. Wow Jorge we’ve similar taste. Like What you did to the space. I adore Mid-Century architecture. Nothing like a beautiful DIY revamp…….yesssss❤❤❤
Loving the makeover, esp the dining light! Though I think what’s feeling “off” might be the bluish-green grey tones in the rock photo. Seems to not be in harmony with the others (the red flowers, the small credenza art, the pink candle jar). Maybe something with wine-burgundy tones would match the space better if we’re adding an accent colour! Or perhaps a muted olive/khaki/army colour for a tinge of green (a bit like your sofa art) to the space. 😊
You have an excellent eye. I think, that I might try bringing the florals on the table lower and somewhat longer, thus allowing your beautiful rock photograph to be more visible. Also, consider making your table centerpiece a bit more nature oriented.
Looks amazing! Loving those chairs, you did a great job 😁 i don't know if it would look good from a design aspect but where the vent is you could put a taller side table...somewhere to throw your keys etc?
I just discovered you today on Nick Lewis's channel about paint color for 2023 and I immediately headed over and now I'm binge watching! New subscriber! I watched your thrift store haul, (always a favorite of mine) and now Imma watching all your others! So exciting to find you! What took me so long?!
@@casa_refined I'm still at it! Just watched the DIY on the glass lamp with the little arm who whos and raffia shade. Seriously? You have serious vision! I'm pouring another glass of wine and carrying on! So great!
I love it all, but I think the wall paint and the cabinets are my favorites! Also the overhead light fixture-is that one of the Italian fixtures? It sure looks like it even if it’s not. I’m also in love with the chairs and the table/credenza-heck, I love, love, love it all!!
I recently came across your channel, and I'm a big fan already. I think you did a great job with your space and the cabinet looks good off to the side. If you decided that you wanted it to look more centered, may I suggest just painting that small section of wall the same color as the cabinet? That way you still have your floor clearance & the cabinet just blends into the wall. Again, great job! BTW, all of your projects, that I've seen, lean more towards high quality and less diy which is SO impressive. Keep it up!
Lovely Dining Room 👏 when you mention something feeling odd in the space, I think it might be the black/white art and something about the credenza styling feels off. Play around with it! You're great at styling, I'm sure you'll figure it out. 🙏
I like the update, I was a little worried when you pulled out the furniture thought it would be too big but you Made it work, as always love the photograph you did, maybe it’s the colours in it that threw you off if add some decor pieces with colour from the photo it should work better ☺️

Saying goodbye to all the other popular DIY/Decor channels. Your channel is pure perfection.
Love it! You could add a plant in a cool pot on the floor to cover the white outlet by the cabinets.
So beautiful and effortless. Perfectly minimalist. I really love that the cabinetry is not centered. It looks built in.
I love the realistic approach to design. The fact that you painted the doors matte black to minimize a piece you will eventually update is so amazing!
Jorge, I'm speechless...I am without speech. This space by far is my favorite. And those chairs!
I love it. You've made me feel comfortable with mixing metals and wood tones. You've done a spectacular job. It looks fantastic. It's perfect!
Enjoy your beautiful new dining room. It is perfect!!!
Sticks. Put some sticks in there - you know, when you grab them from the yard. You've used them before in some of your vases and it's perfection. I just love when you do the sticks.
I love the way it all turned out so amazing!!!! Don’t change a thing! Only thing I would add is a dining room vintage rug ! Would be stunning
You get better everytime! Love everything💙
Thank god you changed that dining room, lord ! Hello
Really love you adding the wood to the cabinets to add depth and texture! The chairs are awesome!
Beautiful dining room transformation 🤍 you are such a delight to watch
I agree with Robin Clark. Especially about the floral arrangement. Neutral colors would be better. I also like her idea for adding a floating frame around your photo. I love the photo. It’s gorgeous!
I like that the cabinets are not centered. It makes them look more built in, rather than just a piece of furniture in the room.
Love it all! I am especially impressed with how you turned those HD cabinets into such a beautiful piece. It looks like a very high end piece. I am in awe of your talents!
Absolutely gorgeous. Always something different unlike others .
wow wow wow!!! I love everything!! Amazing job!

Beautiful ,love the chairs and the lighting.
I just wanna say that you walking in your chanclas is a VIBE. Love it!
I love the cabinets! I think we share a love of closed storage.

I think my favorite is the storage cabinets by the French doors.
Great job! The cabinets came out very professional! You are getting better all the time!
Love how this turned out and also the light fixture that was there before😊 And since you asked, the flowers doesn’t seem to fit into the aesthetic, (although they are gorgeous) I could see one of your modern minimalist DIY pieces fitting perfectly! Bueno. 🧡
had NO IDEA that y9ou could make a wall of cabinets that elegant using unfinished ci\cupboards like you did. LOVE this lock~!

It looks so much lighter and airier! I had no idea that washable jute rugs existed. With 2 dogs I am all about the easy-to-clean rugs;-))
I bought a mid century dining room set. I painted the cane and chair in black spray paint and recovered seats in smokey taupe faux leather. I don't think I removed the original fabric either...lol!
Gorg just Gorg . Your photos need to be everywhere Jorge. Scale Scale to all of your photos .
Love from Canada
I think it is perfect! Wouldn’t change a thing 🤩
That table is huge in that space!
Those chairs, stop it! Absolutely stunning space.

Ubare hilarious. Love how real u are! Love your channel ❤️ I'm a fan
As always-beautiful! ❤️
Beautiful 😍
yes… love to see how you transfer a photo to canvas ☺️
I would try a medium sized mirror centered over the buffet, to bounce/enhance candlelight and balance the weight of the buffet.
I love it all, but I think the wall paint and the cabinets are my favorites! Also the overhead light fixture-is that one of the Italian fixtures? It sure looks like it even if it’s not. I’m also in love with the chairs and the table/credenza-heck, I love, love, love it all!!
