Honestly, I think it depends on each person individually. The peak of my received energy rush lasts about roughly 2 hours. So I could still work out pretty hard for an hour and 10 minutes in this case. I suggest you try it out yourself and see what works best for you (:
"caffine is not good for weight lifting" yet almost every pre workout has caffine in it. lol. I have been working out for 4 years and find i preform WAAAAY better with a preworkout. THESE BROSCIENCE VIDS ARE NOT SCIENCE BASED
I believe most preworkout supplements contain varying levels of beta alanine, l-citruline, and arginine to boost weightlifting purposes. While I think caffeine helps me get motivated and pumped to lift, I honestly haven't seen much difference while strength training with or without coffee (Free of these supplements)
Big fan from Brazil here. Your videos are just amazing. Congratulations. Could you do one on energy drinks, safe levels of consuption and their potential harmful side effects?
I'm trying to transition to green tea matcha to get that L-theanine benefit as well. It's hard to give up the coffee, though. I usually have 3 cups black every morning.
I really love this channel. I don't like looking at people's faces when they talk. this channel explains with drawing and it's fun to watch and listen.
Whoa whoa wait !!! It makes a world of difference when weight lifting !!!! It even helps your muscles recover better and you rarely get "DOMS" which is that sore and achy feeling after a massive hard weight lifting workout.
Guys please i need advise i just started today to take fat burners pills called liporush xt can anyone give me any advise on the product and also i am trying to gain more muscle mass but loose the body fat is it good for me? Thank you!
I suggest theacrine as really helpful for weights workouts or anything where more stamina and power is required imo. I used some the other day and it made quite a difference. It is chemically related to caffeine and they go great together
Caffeine has been shown to help the body burn more calories, with approximately 1 calorie burnt per 1 mg of caffeine consumed. Therefore, drinking 100mg of caffeine can help you burn an extra 100 calories per day.
Wait what the fuck, 2 cups of coffee 350 mg. My instant coffee is 100 mg per tea spoon. So two coffees are 200mg. These coffee shops are making addicts out of people, with the high amounts of caffeine per drink. Also I have maximum 300 mg per day, one caffeine pill(200mg) the morning and one coffee(100 mg) in late afternoon. No more than that; I recommend caffeine pill than coffee, no NEVER go no more than 2 a day. You don't want to become an addict. It says 5 on the bottle is alright but I recommend never go more than 2.
If you are doing weight lifting I recommend water during the exercise so you stay hydrated but green tea is good for burning fat and giving energy (although not as much as coffee)
Hello there, I want to know if Okibetonic Secrets, will really work for me? I notice a lot of people keep on talking about this popular fat burn secrets.
You won't have groggy mornings if you get into the habit of going to bed and waking up consistently as well as working out first thing instead of taking any kind of stimulant.
At Picturefit. It would be great if you showed your references too:) Caffeine has methylxanthine chemical which activates glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis pathways. Both for increasing your blood sugars. But its only draw back is in gluconeogensis, your amino acids are broken down to make sugar rather than synthesis(making) muscles for athletes. So its not an ANOBLIC STATE, rather Catabolic. Besides increasing epinephrine it also increases your cortisol levels. All stress hormones. In a nutshell. I wouldnt consume this daily. But occasionally if i really need it(example during exams lol)
I'm not sure which part of the video stated that caffeine is anabolic? Yes, it is a catabolic process and it can also promote glycogen breakdown. However, it also increases the utilization of fat stores, which will be beneficial in terms of energy use, thus, play a carb-sparing role. Cortisol will rise with almost all triggers of catecholamines and stress-induced factors. Can chronic elevated levels of cortisol pose a problem? Of course, but cortisol still plays a pivotal role in sympathetic responses. Besides, there are many other issues that can increase cortisol to much greater levels than caffeine, such as chronic stress from work, prolonged intense exercise, or lack of sleep. On top of that, as someone develops a greater tolerance to caffeine, cortisol elevation will drop.
PictureFit. Exactly, its catabolic. You didnot mention it, but it should be mentioned because its not good for atheletes/muscle builders in the long run, as you would lose your muscle mass while also losing your fat. Every athelete/builder wants fat loss but obv NOT a muscle loss. So incorporating it on a daily basis with the intention of gaining performance/endurance/muscle, that should be a no no.
PictureFit. How does cortisol plays pivotal role in sympathetic responses? They both are different systems. Autonomic vs endocrinological. Their functions are almost entirely different, as are their target organs and source of production.
There are at least 3 untruths in this video. 1. Caffeine does help weightlifting (talked about in a later video) 2. 400mg for an adult is considered the safe max, not 500 3. The average 8oz cup of coffee has about 95mg of caffeine, not 150. This video is crap. Which is probably a first, fortunately.
1. Not for most populations 2. Depends on which guideline you're following. However, research have shown safe levels at even higher intakes. There are exception to this matter ofc, as with anything. 3. Depends on brew and place you get your coffee. You can thumbs down the video and move on with your life.
Caffeine not good for bodybuilding? Ha! What kind of BS study is that? Then why do pre-workouts exist? I have caffeine before every workout and it always helps.
OK WAIT she said coffee doesn't work for short intense workouts? I do short cardio workouts. before when I WAS NOT drinking coffee before cardio, I wouldn't last very long. NOW when I drink a nice cup of dark coffee no sugar before cardio, I noticed that I last longer

this was too soft and misleading because caffeine stresses adrenal
Black coffee works real well at first, but then I'm practically ravenous after a handful of hours. I'm on a 500-750 VLCD (Very Low Cal Diet), which is extreme though.
What if I have a big tollerance on caffeine? Is it more dangerous to me to consume an amount of caffeine that has the same effect on me as the 330 mg on an average person? For example, if 700 mg have the same effect on me as 330 mg to an average person, would it be more dangerous to drink it for me as 330 mg is for an average person?
Caffine in the not so good part is incorrect guys. Its fine before any type of excercise. Make sure your content is correct for begginers or go workout yourself. Or learn from real athletes
So PictureFit was a child a few months ago?
AzureSymbiote LOL!
Puberty
Two cups of coffee? Those are rookie numbers.

Famizen what about having it 50 minutes before workout does it have any less impact compare to yours
Honestly, I think it depends on each person individually. The peak of my received energy rush lasts about roughly 2 hours. So I could still work out pretty hard for an hour and 10 minutes in this case.
I suggest you try it out yourself and see what works best for you (:

How many cups before workout?
I'm trying to transition to green tea matcha to get that L-theanine benefit as well. It's hard to give up the coffee, though. I usually have 3 cups black every morning.

I dont want to rude, buy Lady, your voice irritates me a lot. Sowwy
I like a cup of tea before a long walk. It really helps me clear my head.
Whoa whoa wait !!! It makes a world of difference when weight lifting !!!! It even helps your muscles recover better and you rarely get "DOMS" which is that sore and achy feeling after a massive hard weight lifting workout.
Perhaps that's an aspect that exists but isn't proven so far, or it is more psychological than anything, simply being hyped up

350mg of caffeine in 2 cups of coffee? Are those cups buckets or what?? A regular cup contains 40-60mgs of caffeine

Google says that there's 40mg of caffeine in one cup of coffee. You say that there's 175mg in one cup. Wich is true?
90 percent of Americans? sounds like bullshit to me...so you are telling me, I am one of only 10% who doesn't drink coffee....hmmm source please?
lmao i clicked on this because i though it was ASAP Science
I find it interesting that this is the only video I came across that a woman is narrating picture fit
I read many people keep on talking about Okibetonic Secrets. But Im not sure if it's good. Have you ever try this popular lose weight methods?
If you are doing weight lifting I recommend water during the exercise so you stay hydrated but green tea is good for burning fat and giving energy (although not as much as coffee)
I don’t believe that 90% of Americans drink coffee everyday

Chronically increased cortisol levels can cause DIABETES aswel.
If you have any counter evidence. Please show me. I would love to correct myself:)

This is Sister Fit. Younger sister of Picture Fit.
There are at least 3 untruths in this video.

Best pre workout
Coffee and coconut oil

Okay.
I’m sorry but 2 cups of coffee is not 350 mg of caffeine unless you’re drinking pints of coffee.
im prety sure the reason is simply because your body doesnt use as much energy cuz of the caffeine... thus better workout
simple and to the point. thanks
Please, don't call americano a coffee!
"90% of people in theUnited States" Because #americaisacontinent
Keep up the videos!
I like the girls voice a lot.
Haha😂 my dad always drinks Coffee before he goes to sleep and he can sleep quicker then you can snap your fingers no joke😂
Black coffee works real well at first, but then I'm practically ravenous after a handful of hours. I'm on a 500-750 VLCD (Very Low Cal Diet), which is extreme though.
Whos this girl talking
You should say 90% of adult Americans. Over 10% of the population is under 10 years old. I doubt they drink 2 cups of coffee a day.
Doesn't caffeine inhibits mTOR? which is essential for protein synthesis and muscle growth?
Love this video cos it short, right to the point. Unlike the other 10 min video that shows mostly nice men and women body than the information i need
so being skinny, caffeine is bad for me because it will make me more skinny
what happened to your voice mate. Bloody hell
Thats because i take guarana powder before hard exercises, like downhill...awesome o know.
350 mg of caffeine is the equivalent of 4 standard cups of coffee roughly 80mg of caffeine a cup.
2020
o canal é ótimo mas não tem legendas para português... fica difícil pra quem é brasileiro e não fala inglês enteder
Who is this lady?
WHY THIS VOICE
caffeine does not work on anaerobic activity?? wot??? may i know which research stated that.... o.O
2 cups of coffee = +- 350mg caffeine but 4 is under 500mg a day????
I would think having more energy during resistance training would be a benefit. kinda surprised
How caffeinw helps you lose weight? Drink all day coffe eat oats with milk and cocoa powder an shit all day. That is how you lose weight like a legend
Does this apply to cold brew coffee? Because it's summer here and I would definitely pass out otherwise
Meth
Caffeine by itself is much better than energy drinks a.k.a legal crack cocaine
Can you link studies you cite?
I actually drink a cup of coffee before training and 0.5 liters during my training
Matthew Dellavedova couldve used this video before game 4! hahaha
i mix monster w pre workout. god damn it feel super awesome. love your channel tho. subscibed

So caffeine is good for working out?

Any advice for drinking coffee post workout for early gym goers?
I use coffee before work out...one strong cup.I just heard coffee can cause adrenal failure too
is "disadvantages of caffeine" more than "advantages of caffeine" ?
i just subscribed :)
I love the guy who's doing voiceover in recent videos(2018)
Great info. Obnoxious music.
Did you have your younger sister narrate this?
Hah!
Why is it not good during weight lifting or body building???
epinephrine is NOT adrenaline
Sorry man, but it is.
i take caffeine to lift and yes i am makeing more muscle so yes i does work for me not everybody is the same
dehydrate....not good for muscle training at all.
If you compensate enough with water beforehand, or with enough water in the cup of coffe itself, it shouldn't be a problem.
The level of dehydration from 2 or even 3 cups of coffee is negligible though...
what about tea how much does caffeine does it have
