Strength coach and also an Excel coach. Though I'm already well versed in Excel just wanna thank you for all the help you offer us with this video and your freebie spreadsheets. You're the man Bryce!
I was literally about to start a new spreadsheet and was going to research the formulas you used on the previous spreadsheet you uploaded. Thank you for this!!
Awesome stuff, downloaded the free DUP template and created my own from it. My last set is always an AMRAP for the 3 big lifts and I want regulate my next weeks weight from that. I came up with just a real long function to calculate my next weeks percentage depending on how many reps I get. Is there a standard formula for how many + or - reps you get for how much you should adjust?
Awesome video Bryce. I for one truly appreciate this help from you. I've been trying to setup templates for my clients but excel is sometimes so confusing.
Awesome work. I've gotten as far as day 1 but when i copy this for day 2,3,4 it is doing relative referencing. You don't seem to have used absolute references at this point, what have I missed?
This is my first time trying to program so it was a learning experience to say the least. When I copied and pasted the format the formula did not work for the copies. I keep getting #VALUE! more and more as I make more copies. Do you know how to solve this?
Only thing confusing me when doing this, is when you doing the If/then statement. When you drag in down along all the lifts of the week, why don't calculate if they're referencing all the correct cells?
Bryce Lewis No, I noticed that, but on my spreadsheet I entered information and still was getting no values. It may be because I was using google sheets.
Ian Mcstruthers This one’s an intro video so I wouldn’t even touch that until much, much later on. I have a few things I’d love to use VBA for but I don’t want spreadsheets to be saved as .xlsm, mobile Excel apps don’t like VBA yet and we need athletes to be able to use and track on their phones.

very informative! great job
Hey Bryce, awesome videos brother. If I shoot you a template, could you maybe help me improve it to make it better? The help is definitely needed.
Amazing video.
Great stuff!
Learned so much from this video, and to think I thought my Excel skills where pretty pro! I just got schooled haha
Damn, excel is just too tedious! Props to you for doing all the work man :)

what's the formula you used on the 1rm calculation cell?
mulullama Its the same one from exrx.net, I believe also from Brzycki, Matt (1998). A Practical Approach To Strength Training. McGraw-Hill
Thanks for the content, really appreciate it :-)
What was the formula for 1rm 6 mins in?

Matt Cronin Training I didn’t put any set/rep information in the boxes they are referencing
Bryce Lewis No, I noticed that, but on my spreadsheet I entered information and still was getting no values. It may be because I was using google sheets.
COLUMN
BRYCE. The format painter. Use it.
Ian Mcstruthers Oh I do!
Okay, good! Do you ever put any VBA in your spreadsheets (sorry in advance if you talk about this in the video, I didn't watch the whole thing)
