  • Carl Thompson from Australian Federation of Disability Organisations (AFDO) provided an in depth overview, including pros and cons for the various support management options, that would assist advocates when working with people with disability through their NDIs plan implementation phase. This was followed by an update from Felix Neighbour from the Office for Disability.

    So, in actual fact there are 3, not 2, ways of managing the funds in your plan: 1) Let the NDIA do it, 2) Use the service of a Plan Manager & 3) Self Management. Yes??

    how can you self manage if you don't have a good computer or printer you got know hope in self managing and the NDIS makes it hard to self manage

    there are a whole lot of grey areas with NDIS the words they use like reasonable ? what's reasonable to one person may not be to another

      Basically the cheapest option which also means cut corners and send ppl who know nothing about disabled ppl
