Originally from Liverpool, myself Andrew (The KnightStrider) and Laura moved to Tenerife 8 years ago. We LOVE to travel and explore the world! We spend our free time showcasing the very best of Tenerife and our general life - as well as travelling abroad whenever we can!
IT’S FLORIDA TRAVEL DAY! Join me, Laura and Mum & Dad as we start our magical journey at Manchester Airport as we travel with Virgin Atlantic to Orlando International travelling Premium Economy, the class just below Upper Class. Filmed in September 2022.
We show the full journey and all the bits a travel vlog should have, with some tips and pointers along the way that may help you! We traveled via the new Terminal 2 at Manchester with Virgin Atlantic which was very nice. We also show if there are any delays with the security checks at Manchester. We were extremely lucky again and got to fly on Virgin Atlantics Newest Airbus A350-1000 aircraft called “Lady Emmeline”.
The flight went smoothly, exploring and showing the whole new Premium Economy cabin and new entertainment system. We also loved the “tail-cam” feature where you could watch a webcam of the exterior of the plane for takeoff and landing.
The flight was very fast, only taking 7 hours 53 minutes and before we knew it we were at Orlando International Airport. Customs area was not too bad and we were through to the Alamo Rental Car desk in just 35 minutes. We could not believe our luck and our timing! The Florida buzz hit us straight away as we arrived at our lovely rental villa in Windsor Hills. We then decided to get straight to Universal Halloween Horror Nights for a little mooch around with our frequent fear pass. All the way from Manchester at 6AM to HHN in the same day was a great feeling!
We rounded off the day with a quick walk around City Walk and a 2 foot long hotdog from World Famous Hotdogs.

Awesome travel day vlog as expected. Good old Mick with the air miles. Plane looked amazing, loved the rear camera view. Great flight time. Total respect at fitting UStudios in the same day, great tip with keeping hydrated on the flight.
All in all, its put me in the mood to go back, many thx for sharing your day with us all.
PS... I had a feeling Mick and Lydia were going with you when you was in Home Bargains and you brought the liquorice for Mick. The way you said well take the rest to Florida made me question you a bit.

Great to see you both back in the sunshine state again, and this time with the added bonus of your parents who by the way I tip my hat to, what a sterling effort that was on travel day. Please make sure you take them back to HHN, my wife and I laughed so much when your dad who is obviously a little nervous, was confronted with one of the scare cast almost on top of him as he turned around. We really appreciate the effort you both go to do create this content, well done and keep it up, it's fantastic to watch.

Really loved this vlog. Love how close you are as a family x flying on Friday so we are doing HHN on Sunday. I'm a total wimp but seeing your experience of it has put me more at ease. Airport pub - 100% recommend. Also have the Runway Visitor Park on the other end of the runway which is also amazing. Have a wonderful time at Florida!

Our last vist to Orlando was in 2018 for my sons 30th birthday we are from country durham but flew from Manchester as it was my sons wish to fly virgin from there.
We stayed over the night befor in a Manchester Airport Hotel.
My son has Autism and he' loves plane spoting so we took him to that very pub that has awesome veiws of planes coming in and taking off. He was in his element.

Great vlog. Airport looked very quiet. Fair play to you heading off to Universal. We are not fans of HHN but can see the attraction. Love Universal. The 1st time we went to Florida it was September & the thunderstorms were unreal. Have to agree that Lydia & Mick are real troopers. 👏👏💕 We are 10 years younger & you wouldn’t find us heading to Universal on travel day. 😝 Have a fabulous holiday & look forward to watching all your vlogs. xx
