Unreliable don’t agree at all my old m5 had 90,000 and it was really good just service tyres as you do with all cars . One I have now has 38,000 been amazing any car can go wrong 👍
I looked at an X5M with this engine recently. There’s something about the 4.4 that just doesn’t sound right for me due to the turbocharging. It’s more like a 4 cylinder reminiscent of a GT Turbo and a bit of Subaru. Odd but definitely not a typical V8 sound like the older M5 E39.
The downpipes and stock exhaust are really restrictive. High flow or catless downpipes with a proper exhaust like M performance make them sound amazing
Great cars when they're running....but that's not very often. Massive parts and maintenance costs. Terribly unreliable. Seriously looked into one as a daily, but too risky. Despite it being a supercar in disguise
Driving on British roads is like driving on cow paths. The worst road system in any first world country. Not to mention the idiocy of driving on the left and the steering wheel on the right which makes any car look absolutely pathetic.
