This film scarred me for life lol I rewatch it every now and then to make sure I *really did* see a man impaled on a church yard and it's not just mandela effect 😂 Best horror thriller ever
Okay thanks for spoiling it 😂😂
@@privateboh2458 fr 😂
I've got to see. This
No spolling even tho it's an old flim
@@bigkj2.027 oh piss off, you had all the time in the world to watch this lol
Who's here after watching the First Omen? Hopefully the new one has a new sequel. Never seen this movie.
Just watched it today
Went in with 0 knowledge 💀
I think that if there will be a sequel, I have a lot of faith in the next one
Me and the first omen is disgusting
Can you tell me how to watch the omen (franchise) in order
👍👍👌👌👌
An interesting fact: Actor of Damien during his childhood was never told what the movie was about. During filming, he recalled being simply instructed to act in certain ways and knew nothing more about the film in which he was cast. He only learnt of it when he was a little older.
Even if they did tell him he wasnt gonna understand anyway
R.I.P: Richard Donner.
The Best Director.
He’s Creating The Warner Bros Picture The Goonies And Gilligan Island Tv Series.
I watched this when I was 10 - did not dare look in a mirror for years - scariest movie imo
Watching this movie at home on VHS with the family. Turning around and looking at my brother with a funny look. End up fighting.... Those were the days. 😂
😂😂😂
why did u fighr?
@@dondawest-ig4qu did it all the time where the protagonist was crazy, a killer or the devil. Looking at him suspicious. No that's you.. look mom, and fight LoL. Isn't that common?
@@memeco50thats really common, my brother scared me, we were fighting and it ruined my mood watching the movie 😂😂😂
I thought this movie was way scarier than The Exorcist. The music and the scenes where the nanny smiles before she hangs her self or when that woman throws the other woman out of the window. Chilling
I thought so too
Youre absolutely right🥱👍
"Fear not, little one, for I am here to protect thee".
One of my favorite movies and in my opinion one of the best movies of all time, and directed by Richard Donner. Gregory Peck and Lee Remick are priceless and the practical effects are awesome and still hold up. Just watching the trailer still gives me goosebumps.
Next to "To Kill a Mockingbird", I think this is Gregory Peck's best work...
The Omen is a classic horror movie ever.
ThaT isnT real ThaTs fanTasy
Absulutly right
His real mother died after giving birth to him, his father isn’t around, he can make animals do what he wants, bad things happen to bad people... oh, this is Tom Riddle’s twin.
His real mother is lilth his father is lucifer
Ma guarda che non è cosa reale , e un horror
turns out its mother is alive and he has also a twin sister.
Well this got debunked well
well
you can believe it or not. When I first watched this film on TV at 10 pm, there was a motorbike accident near my house and took down 3 people. and it was a scary night for me.
This movie didn't scare me as much as Salem's lot did or the Amityville horror for the Manitou but it's still right up there with one of the scariest movies I've seen
The Omen is infinitely scarier than those movies because it is far more realistic.
@@gmail4218 and the Amityville horror isn't as realistic or Salem's lot ?
@@gmail4218 how about finale destination that's pretty realistic that crap could actually happen I think that show is more on the lines of disturbing 😆
Yep enjoyed this movie immensely scared me way more than The Exorcist
The sequel to *The First Omen.*
Really looking to watch it.
Some people says this film is cursed
#TBT Trailer: Ready for Halloween? Watch the trailer for 1976’s The Omen. It's all for you…
and?

The
Nanny?
These were the real trailers
"The Omen" is a classic 1976 Psychological Horror Movie with R.I.P. (Gregory Peck), R.I.P. (Lee Remick), R.I.P. (David Warner) I have this on DVD. It's pretty creepy, cheesy, campy, corny & has great Special Effects. It's a favorite of mine in my library. I really love the trailer voice-over. It has some twists & turns. It's got some creepy moments. I need to watch this again. I love the music that was in this movie. Lots of suspense....
Start at the end with how we want people to remember us that way we can live our lives accordingly
Damien : OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU
Everybody : NANI ?!
A movie like this would never be released today.
They just showed the whole film in the trailer..... But yeah watching this as a kid in the 90s had me shook
Personally, I like the 1976 movie of "The Omen" even though I am an atheist.
Same......I'm also an Atheist which is probably why I enjoyed it instead of being terrified by it
@@JasonRay1977 - That is good to know from you. I appreciate it very much. After all the flack I got from religious fanatics and other assorted jerks, your comment is just what I wanted.

Nope, Lee Remick's best work, was for "Days of Wine & Roses," in 1962, for which she was Nominated for an Academy Award, for Best Actress! Lee Remick, was a very Talented, Classy, and Beautiful woman, with Spectacular BLUE EYES!

OMG they are staring again geeze people 😂😂
A woman i used to know in work had a friend who couldn't get pregnant. Anyways they were on holiday somewhere like Iran, Iraq or Tunisia can't remember. They went to see this witch lady person about her infertility and she gave her this fancy egg. She told her that if she didn't break the egg she would get pregnant when she got home. She took care of the egg really well and kept it intact, a month or so after her return she fell pregnant. She likened the child who was born to the kid in this movie. Straight evil all the way through. I stopped working with her. So no updates in years. Funny huh.
Most probably Iran because it is common practice here 😕

@@HarryBarry97 Lightning Strikes
Let's begin in September 1975. Lead actor Gregory Peck was flying to London, and during the flight lightning struck the plane. Odd, yes, but it's not unheard of. Shortly after, executive producer Mace Neufeld's plane was also struck by lightning while en route to Los Angeles. That's twice in a span of only a few weeks. Then, writer David Seltzer's plane was also struck by lightning. And, while filming in Rome, lightning narrowly missed striking producer Harvey Bernhard. Lightning may never strike twice, but four times, and to different people whose only six degrees of separation at the time was The Omen? That's eerie.
Plane Crash

Speaking of planes, Peck was probably thrilled to have his struck by lightning instead of what could have happened in a separate event. The planned filming of an action scene was delayed, which happens. This meant that Peck was not needed on the set, so a private jet that the crew was going to charter to bring Peck in was not necessary. The next day, news arrived that must have sent chills down the spine of the entire cast and crew. The plane they had intended to book hit a flock of birds and crashed, killing everyone on board. While that was tragic enough, the plane struck a car driving along the road as it came crashing down, killing everyone in the car. But wait, there's more. The people in the car? The wife and two children of the plane's pilot.
IRA Bombings, Animal attacks from the well trained Rottweilers.
And the scariest weirdest Car Accident you will ever hear.
The Omen - Damien and Nanny looking at birthday cakeImage via 20th Century Fox
The most tragic event, however, would befall Liz Moore, assistant to John Richardson who was the special effects designer for the film. The pair were driving through the Netherlands, and along the way were involved in a horrifying car accident. Richardson escaped with minor injuries, but Moore was decapitated by a tire that smashed into their car. That fact is sickening enough, but there's a ghastly parallel to the movie itself. In one scene, a photographer that's helping Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck) research Damien's origins, Keith Jennings (David Warner) is killed when he is decapitated by a sheet of glass that falls off a construction vehicle while driving. And if that wasn't creepy enough, the accident occurred on August 13th, 1976 - Friday, August 13th - by a road sign (allegedly) that indicated it was 66.6 kilometers away from the town of Ommen.
