This film scarred me for life lol I rewatch it every now and then to make sure I *really did* see a man impaled on a church yard and it's not just mandela effect 😂 Best horror thriller ever
An interesting fact: Actor of Damien during his childhood was never told what the movie was about. During filming, he recalled being simply instructed to act in certain ways and knew nothing more about the film in which he was cast. He only learnt of it when he was a little older.
Watching this movie at home on VHS with the family. Turning around and looking at my brother with a funny look. End up fighting.... Those were the days. 😂

One of my favorite movies and in my opinion one of the best movies of all time, and directed by Richard Donner. Gregory Peck and Lee Remick are priceless and the practical effects are awesome and still hold up. Just watching the trailer still gives me goosebumps.

A woman i used to know in work had a friend who couldn't get pregnant. Anyways they were on holiday somewhere like Iran, Iraq or Tunisia can't remember. They went to see this witch lady person about her infertility and she gave her this fancy egg. She told her that if she didn't break the egg she would get pregnant when she got home. She took care of the egg really well and kept it intact, a month or so after her return she fell pregnant. She likened the child who was born to the kid in this movie. Straight evil all the way through. I stopped working with her. So no updates in years. Funny huh.
@@HarryBarry97 Lightning Strikes Let's begin in September 1975. Lead actor Gregory Peck was flying to London, and during the flight lightning struck the plane. Odd, yes, but it's not unheard of. Shortly after, executive producer Mace Neufeld's plane was also struck by lightning while en route to Los Angeles. That's twice in a span of only a few weeks. Then, writer David Seltzer's plane was also struck by lightning. And, while filming in Rome, lightning narrowly missed striking producer Harvey Bernhard. Lightning may never strike twice, but four times, and to different people whose only six degrees of separation at the time was The Omen? That's eerie. Plane Crash Harvey Stephens in 'The Omen'Image via Twentieth Century Fox Speaking of planes, Peck was probably thrilled to have his struck by lightning instead of what could have happened in a separate event. The planned filming of an action scene was delayed, which happens. This meant that Peck was not needed on the set, so a private jet that the crew was going to charter to bring Peck in was not necessary. The next day, news arrived that must have sent chills down the spine of the entire cast and crew. The plane they had intended to book hit a flock of birds and crashed, killing everyone on board. While that was tragic enough, the plane struck a car driving along the road as it came crashing down, killing everyone in the car. But wait, there's more. The people in the car? The wife and two children of the plane's pilot. IRA Bombings, Animal attacks from the well trained Rottweilers. And the scariest weirdest Car Accident you will ever hear. The Omen - Damien and Nanny looking at birthday cakeImage via 20th Century Fox The most tragic event, however, would befall Liz Moore, assistant to John Richardson who was the special effects designer for the film. The pair were driving through the Netherlands, and along the way were involved in a horrifying car accident. Richardson escaped with minor injuries, but Moore was decapitated by a tire that smashed into their car. That fact is sickening enough, but there's a ghastly parallel to the movie itself. In one scene, a photographer that's helping Robert Thorn (Gregory Peck) research Damien's origins, Keith Jennings (David Warner) is killed when he is decapitated by a sheet of glass that falls off a construction vehicle while driving. And if that wasn't creepy enough, the accident occurred on August 13th, 1976 - Friday, August 13th - by a road sign (allegedly) that indicated it was 66.6 kilometers away from the town of Ommen.
I saw this when i was a kid , but after seeing this again as an adult, i realized the priest could have save them if he doesnt talk like a crazy person with his biblical bs, also how s2p!d to just shout "noooooo!" instead of avoiding the iron rod/sphere that killed him.😁
