So for 30 years I thought it was “Wrapped up like douche another rumor in the night”….. which for life of me I had no idea what that meant. A few years ago I discovered it was actually “Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night” 🤯it’s his own damn fault for being extra with the word deuce.
what part of Va are you located in? i’m asking because, not only are your videos an inspiration to me, but i’d like to know a couple codes as far as the depth and circumference of your posts…im in Chesterfield, Va btw, lol

Northern VA. Gainesville. For Prince William County. The depth is 2 feet. And then width is 18” if square. 20” if round.

What size Deck?
This half was 16’ deep by 20’ wide.

a type of flashing that helps the wood not split or crack and keep from getting water into the wood when you screw into it
A wrap almost if not the same thing as flashing around a window. Seals the screw going into the joist to prevent water entering and creating rot.
