Hi Geoff, this is a traditional Pakistani Curry which is lovely and tangy as the base for this dish is yoghurt! The potato and onion bhaji (pakoras) dumplings really compliment this dish! Try it someday..
Thank you for posting..I followed your pilau recipe previously and it turned out great. So I will definitely give this a try. Your videos are really easy to follow and you explain very well. Much appreciated.

My Little Kitchen hey I made it and it tasted amazing! My whole family loved it, sorry I don’t have Facebook or Instagram to share a photo with you, thank you so much for sharing!
This recipe looks amazing and easy i cant wait to try it will me my 1st time please can u confirm would I be able to use tinned tomatoes or are Fresh better
Hi Miriam, I recommend using fresh tomatoes as using tinned ones gives a darker colour to the masala and with this recipe you want the colour of the masala to be a little lighter so the curry can take on that traditional yellow colour.
Salaam love just wanted to say how perfect you’re recipes are. So far I’ve tried lamb pilau and curry pakora. I can honestly say the recipes delicious. I spent hours on UA-cam searching for the perfect recipe. I’m definitely going to try your other recipes too. Love how your videos are straight to the cooking point and not wasting time. Thankyou soo much and inshaallah I’m hoping to try shepherds pie next. Continue posting your fab recipes. Jzk
Wsalaam Asma, thank you for your comment. Aww thank you so much lovely! I'm glad the recipes are being loved! Sometimes it's difficult to find 'A' perfect recipe but I'm glad my videos have delivered 😊👍 Oh you'll love the shepherd's pie recipe, its soo comforting 😊
Hello! I just found your channel. I have a question: Do the onion pakoras get soggy when you heat the curry up next day? Thank you. I'm looking forward to making this soon!😋
Hi there, no the spices are perfect for the curry and once you cook it down even more the spices intensify, so we dont need to double them. Regarding the Kadhi, after the initial 45mins cook I would add another 20mins to the above cooking time if your not adding pakore! The consistency should be slightly thicker than mine and perfect. Hope that helps
hi Radon, I do not have an induction hob, mines a ceramic hob so this pot does work, but shouldn't really be used as its not a a hard bottomed aluminum pot.
Hi Nagina, thank you for your comment. I make my own garam masala. I'll link the video below if you're interested in making homemade garam masala 😁👍 ua-cam.com/video/53JM82dYo6w/v-deo.html
