Birth Under Bombardment: The Throes of Displacement in Gaza

Faced with an acute lack of proper medical care and and basic sanitation, Palestinian women giving birth in Gaza face critical health risks. In the first installment of Sada’s 2024 documentary series, Palestinian women recount the horrors of giving birth while displaced from their homes. The third year of this series highlights the phenomenon of internal displacement in the Middle East, in collaboration with young filmmakers in Gaza, Sudan, Libya, and Iraq and with funding from the Golden Globes Foundation.
