What i love about this is that its unique and so authentic, it sound nothing like covers that just try immitate the original creator. It sounded like a completely new song and thats what makes it special and so loveable

I guess it's just death of the author, but it feels more playful or comfortable. The singer knows it's never gonna happen, but if it ever did, it wouldn't be the same, so it's a hard thing to truly want that change. Eating the cake is hardly the same as looking at it.
I think the anger really suits how I at least process a crush. Cause I’m filled with all the passion, and then getting annoyed at myself for having feelings I can’t control, and yet not being able to get rid of them. But then sometimes it’s the addiction to the good feelings that fuel my own disappointment in myself. Idk if that was communicated clearly… but yeah I really love this version.

This song is my girlfriend’s favorite song from Goodkid and this song just brings so many emotions. It’s been over 10 months since i confessed my feelings but this was one of the first bands i ever listened to in my music adventure. She was there throughout all of it and i introduced this band to her and she didn’t think much of it prior to 2024. This song was always stuck in my head and i always loved everything about it. Now with school starting all over again, i got her to listen to my whole playlist of music and this was the song she loved the most. She always jams to the guitar in the beginning and the drums, shaking me around at every moment she can. She tells me the song reminds her of me a lot, since i loved her the very first time i saw her. I adore her and cherish her for everything she has done for me, and she keeps me happy, even if she says hi to me, that brings me a smile. Thank you Goodkid for your music and you’ve kept me from being bored from music.

I love how this cover got more energetic and a little aggressive in "Bla bla bla". I love the chorus and the unique way he sings this part. What captivates me most is the end of the song, which ends in a calmer and more melancholic way, which I loved.

I loved her from the start, but I was the cause of our break-up, I still blame myself for what happened.
