Your ability to have such a positive outlook in such a shit situation is really motivating, I hope you have the speediest and most issue free recovery Theo
Really love these videos Theo. Your recovery and fitness journey is inspiring. As footballer who delt with a lot of injuries since last year, your videos truly helps me to keep pushing. You a true definition of every you fall, you keep getting up. Keep up the work my brother. Wishing everyone health on every
Theo i just want to say that what ur doing is really inspiring. having the attitude of seeing the good in any situation is massively inspiring to me an many more people. wish u a speedy recovery
I feel for you mate, 2 years ago I tore my meniscus in my left knee and had to go through a long recovery process, then last year after only just getting back I tore my meniscus in my right knee and got told contact sport would be a risk. At the age of 21 hearing that was tough, but rest it up, make sure it heals properly with physio, and you’ll be back before you know it. Thankfully that’s how it went for me and now I’m back playing in goal. Wishing you a speedy recovery
Theo theo theo. It takes a true man to put themselves through this kinda stress just to make your short friends feel like they're the best baller even if its only for a day. What a true friend
I empathize with that pain Theo. Injuries can stack up and you feel like you’re constantly fighting an uphill battle. As someone who has been through that, I can tell you it will get better and you will be mentally stronger for having gone through this. Rooting you on from the States!! You got this keep up the hard work.
I know exactly how it feels to not be able to kick a ball without injuring yourself Theo, it sucks. I've turned to tennis and swimming and still love football but i'm made of glass! Loving the recent videos, keep inspiring others and hope your recovery goes well!
Wishing you a speedy recovery! You got me motivated to do a triathlon. It would be interesting to see how you prepared yourself, what equipment you used and if you learned something during the race that would be good to know.
Hope you recover well’ I also played football and at the pitch I did, broken my elbow in two places as well as dislocated it at the same time, also ripped of one of the muscle attachments… I understand your frustration and feeling about the rehab! Keep it up and focus my man🙏🏽🔜🔙
Just before you had injured your hip I did mine in a couple days before hand. I was playing footy and my leg dislocated and popped back in. As it popped back in, it chipped my femor head and detached my muscle from the bone. Was on crutches for 3 weeks, 4-5 months until fully recovered. I'm just glad I can do my golfing, as it takes away the pain as it stretches you hip. Hope u on u get well soon, your not alone in this journey.
Your commitment to keeping going despite setbacks is inspiring. I've been out of proper sports and strenuous exercise for a few years with heart surgeries, and even though I've been cleared to resume all activity and the congenital issue is "fixed" it's still so hard to trust my body. It's scary. But I'm going to try again
Coming back from an injury is so hard I love playing football like Theo and got cartilage damage so can’t play. It’s hard when you’ve been out so long come back again and then get injured once more. Keep going Theo don’t give up. Being injury prone is hard but just got to use is at motivation to improve and get better
I'm a physiotherapist i have worked in Wycombe wanderers, royal marine's & nhs. I have worked with Femoral acetabular impingement multiple times and operative measures is not the way to go many people have lesions on the labrum and bone deformities and dont even know. There are multiple reason to why impingement causes pain and i promise you it isn't the bone. Its clear Theo works on strength but not strength in length and doesn't strengthen tendons via isometrics and pails and rails and clearly lacks central nervous manipulation when stretching which also needs to be paired with intensive tissue work. He said its a new injury but i promised you they are linked and has been in the making for a long time. If you are serious about getting better please let me know Theo
You've got this Theo. make sure to stay in contact with your Dr. I would ask when you are capable of doing light kicks to medium and so on. Stay active and try to not baby it too much. it will help heal quicker because you aren't being stationary. I used to participate in many sports over the years and I noticed when I would baby an injury it healed a lot slower and usually would cause a secondary injury due to trying to overcompinsate for the lack of support from the original one. I feel that you'lll be back and stronger in the next charity match. stay strong man.
Last year I found out that I had gone 10 years with a metatarsal fracture in my right foot after I was tackled in a football match back in 2012. The doctors then didn't see any fractures on the scans, but I had to take new ones last year as suddenly could barely walk on my foot after a running session. And what did we find? Comparing the two scans, it was the exact same fracture, that had never really healed. So I had just torn up whatever few strings of bone that had tried to grow. Luckily I had a surgery in september last year, and now it's healed properly, or as well as a 10 year old fracture can heal. But I see the positives in it, as it didn't hamper me too much these years, except I decided to stop playing football back in 2014 for other reasons. Hope you have a good recovery!
Honestly, the fact it's a new injury is probably good news, all things considered. If it was an aggravation of the other injury I think it would have been a lot more problematic for you. Stay positive and I wish you a good recovery!
Hi Theo, it would be worth getting a snorkel (finis) and paddles when using a buoy. Will really improve your technique, keeping you head still and allowing your arms to glide through the water easier.
As a student Physio currently in my second year, it would be really interesting for myself personally to see the type of rehab you go through, like the different stages, what you can and cannot do, etc!
Swimming will help you immensely not only to maintain fitness levels but also to keep you mentally sound, it is such a great sport to keep on powering on. 2024 is around the corner, focus and you will pass through this injury swiftly and return back to running and kicking some football.
great video man, i don't tend to comment on videos. but i think your positive outlook is genuinely inspiring and such a good way to deal with the perils of life
Wishing you all the best on the recovery! I can't help but notice, though, that your channel is filled with marathons without training and doing extreme stuff without proper training. You're on your 20s, but it seems like you're getting injured quite often.
Hope you have a good recovery. If I were you now I would getting a coach to help you improve the swimming technique and get a bike fit so you don't get any injuries do to the wrong position on the bike. That can also help you get faster on the bike with the same effort as you normally do.
I feel your pain I injured my knee at soccer/football practice and have just had patella reconstruction surgery. 3 month recovery time and I have an immobilizer on my leg for 2 months.
Gutted for you mate. You’ve not been lucky. But keep it going, atleast you’ve got the swimming. I’m also training for a 70.3 💪🏻 keep at it, don’t lose motivation
I know from my own experiences that it really sucks when your body just doesn’t cooperate with the things you want to do but I find it so inspiring to see how positive and motivated you are despite what’s happening, I wish you the best and a full recovery!
I have the injury and it’s a pain in the ass to get over but you do get back to full strength but will always have an abnormal lump in your leg from the scar tissue and it will always feel a lot more vulnerable as a muscles
I wish you a good recovery. With your new injury, I hope that you can go back to shooting some absolute bangers, but realistically I think you should avoid them from now on. During the game, you took a power shot and you got injured. With your wisdom and experience in football, you need to stop taking these kinds of shots and maybe focus on being a key player/leader in the team. I wish you the best Theo, your a great inspiration for us all.
Hi Theo, I fully understand what you're going through currently as I'm also currently recovering from an injury (shoulder dislocation) I love your positive outlook on the matter and your determination despite the severity of the injury I wish you a good recovery and try and be patient as to not overdo it whether it is at the gym or swimming Love and support from the injury bench as well 🤟🏽
Looking at your swimming i can already tell your right arm cuts into the middle too much when entering the water. It slows you down because you push yourself of the straight line because of that. Basically you cross the middle of your body with your right arm thus pushing you from left towards the right during your pull through. Hope it helps! (I've coached kids before so i'm just trying to help)
How were u able to get a mri so soon. I did my knee about 2 and half months ago and have not had a mri and all I’ve been told it’s most likely the acl Wish u speedy recovery
If I’m you Theo I’m glad it’s not to do with the surgery, because a setback on something like that would be grim. Get this one healed up, 3 months is nothing really it’ll fly by lad.
After you healing done please try yoga it will keep your joint and muscle relax do your research and do it. It really help as it has helped me, wishing u a speedy recovery
Unfortunately Theo you are made of glass. That's life. When you are prone to injury you'll just have to be more careful. Maybe talk with someone that is expert on post-match recovery? Because you might be able to minimize future injuries if you do a really good post-recovery after you played a football match, a training, a marathon. You know, every time you test your body. Usually not doing a proper recovery can be the catalyst for a future injury.
He consistently doesn't have good recovery even when he got a hairline surgery he didn't take care of it and didn't go through the proper after surgery process
Your ability to have such a positive outlook in such a shit situation is really motivating, I hope you have the speediest and most issue free recovery Theo
Football not being his bread and butter probably helps lol
he wont shag you mate

Theo i just want to say that what ur doing is really inspiring. having the attitude of seeing the good in any situation is massively inspiring to me an many more people. wish u a speedy recovery
This is exactly the type of life documenting that UA-cam vlogs should be, (despite the injury unfortunately happening in the first place)

I wish you the very best and hope you recover soon.
Good recovery mate
Hi Theo, I’ve enjoyed this vlog style kind of videos.
I wish you a speedy recovery by the way!
To clarify, try to keep your hands in line with your shoulders. Cutting towards the middle will slow you down.
Got to feel sorry for Theo. Talented footballer and super keen athlete being struck down by a dodgy hip and ever thinning hairline
Hair is overrated to be honest
Not the hairline💀💀
My 🐐
How were u able to get a mri so soon. I did my knee about 2 and half months ago and have not had a mri and all I’ve been told it’s most likely the acl
