@@woolfy02Ended up just buying a cracked one on Ebay for $60 and putting it in my chasis with a fixed screen. Problem solved.

Nice observation, wouldn't it make noise if you shook it? I think that board overheated and the screw came loose, when it heats up the screen flickers.
