of course!! it's a really awesome technique so thanks for sharing it! and well, I'll say I only had 10 minutes of voiceover footage so it was def one of my more ... efficient filming sessions. Was it worth the crash afterwards? probably not
I personally didn't seal it, but if you're going to I would do a quick test of how it reacts. I've had some weird issues in the past with sealing oil paints because I didn't let the paints cure correctly
Thanks for the tip! I live in Denmark and I can't find any Naphtha, and I don't really know what it is. I tried googling it, and I found something called rensebenzin (in Danish). Do you know if I can use it? I just tried the uv resin trick BTW, works really well!
Thanks! It actually doesn’t take that long at all since you’re diluting the oil paints, I’d say things were dry to the touch after 15 minutes. But I still let everything dry for 24 hours just to be safe.
So much energy I need it
it was a very efficient filming session that's for sure
i am honored, best friend ever. always here for yo hype
thank you for never judging me
I can’t find Naphtha in my area, can I use regular paint thinner (knowing it will take longer to dry)?
You should be able to! Haven't tried it myself but have heard it's a goodd substitute
Awesome.
Thanks@@vaultfox .!
Awsome I will be trying this
nice!
Does the prop need to be clear coated first?
Very cool, thanks.
glad it helped!
Thanks for the plug, also I’m filming all my videos on Pre Workout 🤣

Hi, thanks for the video! Do you seal it afterwards with any varnish?
I personally didn't seal it, but if you're going to I would do a quick test of how it reacts. I've had some weird issues in the past with sealing oil paints because I didn't let the paints cure correctly

Can't really tell you if it's the same or not as I'm not familiar, sorry. But glad to hear the resin trick works! It's really changed the game for me
@@vaultfox okay, thank you though. Me too!
This looks great! Did you seal the clean paint beforehand?
nope, didn't seal before or after. I would test it to see how it reacted if you did either of those things first
Hi there! The weathering looks amazing!! How long does this take to dry?
Thanks! It actually doesn’t take that long at all since you’re diluting the oil paints, I’d say things were dry to the touch after 15 minutes. But I still let everything dry for 24 hours just to be safe.
What did you have the helmet its self from. Is it 3d printed?
It's a 3D print, I have a few videos on how I finished it up to this point
Hmmm now I want to prework out before builds.
for filming it was .... interesting, but taking it before a long build day? I mean, I'd try it
