They do, you'll want to use epoxy to coat it over uv, I ended up epoxying the eyes to wire with a plastic back to make it one solid piece. The mono doesn't hold up. However using epoxy. This thing holds up really well, until a bluefish shows up
@@MainelyFlies I thought I would add some non-lead weight to get it down a bit, not sure how deep I'll take it, might try 2 to3 feet with one and also 7 to 10 feet with another to get a feeling of where the fish are feeding in the water column, ever thought of tying one so that weight can be added on the fly, lol so to speak to adjust for different feeding conditions, I also will add small (micro) beads to make some noise as well. your thoughts?

although it's a squid, this would work quite well for pike
Yeah, actually, I could see that. Lots of movement in this one. If you added wings to the hood I bet it would have a jerk-like action

Craft store friendship bracelet elastic cord works as a great replacement for squirmy wormie material, especially in other colors.
