I knew when they were locked together the first time we messed up. We always say, when she in heat, the two boys are in their crates. But my husband messed up and didn’t lock the boys up. I went in the backyard, called for them, and there they were facing opposite of eachother deer caught in headlights, in trouble lookin their eyes., it’s weird how first lock is always definite
@bpower2431 human pregnancy you count from the first day of the last period. Humans aren't actually pregnant for on average a couple of weeks later, plus implantation. That's probably why they asked where to count from.

hi! Its not quite a scam, with an ultra sound you can check for amount of pups coming, as well as any complications that may come included.
Not a scam. Certain breeds especially require an ultrasound as they can't give birth naturally, they require Caesarean sections. Like English bulldogs, most Boston Terriers, etc. Other dogs might have medical issues or just require a routine check to count the number of puppies so that you don't end up leaving any puppies inside by mistake that aren't naturally birthed. That does happen frequently, and it kills both puppy or puppies AND mother. Knowing how many are there allows you to get the dog to the vet if all puppies haven't emerged within a certain period of time. So, it's worth the small expense.
