Hello Elle. I'm proud to say that I'm a recent subscriber and love your how to apply eyeliner tutorial on mature eyes. I'm a 46 year old faithful bare minerals make up user now for at least 15 years but I need a more affordable make up also. We pretty much have the same combination of skin and dry in the same area. Thank you for a honest review and helping me make a tough decision, come out of my comfort zone, stop wining and try the stuff. It's not like I'm eating liver😣😣😣, I HATE LIVER LOL😉!!!

This foundation looks beautiful on you Elle. I can"t wait to try it but it hasn't hit the stores yet. I have normal skin and the shade light shade 20 and 40 would be the best matches for me.
Beautiful!! I actually really like matte foundations now, even though I'm super dry. But u taught us to hydrate and prep that skin, and we can wear it! I go to work on my feet all day running around sweating, come home look in the mirror, and my makeup still looks great! No creasing or nothing!

Hey Elle. I’m so glad to hear there’s a good drug store option with such a great shade range. I always change colors this time a year so it’s great to have more affordable options. I think I’d try L90 or M20.

I would like to see more videos using Merle Norman products, especially eyeshadows. Your video on green MN shadow on deep set eyes is my favorite look now! Thank you for another wonderful review. I had given up on Covergirl because even their lightest shades oxidized. Back in the late,1980s, when I first started wearing foundation, pale and dark skin tones were not represented :(. For the most part, cosmetic companies still make a large profit from marketing beige thru tan foundations. I am optimistic that companies will continue to strive for shade inclusiveness :). Looks like Covergirl is getting it! :)
Sinndy Morr Everyone raved on CG Vitialist Foundation so I purchased the second to lightest shade as it had warmer tones and it oxidized 2-3 shades down on me. I was so mad - I gave it away.
Laura Seymour Its so nice to be able to share these frustrations. Unfortunately, I have always felt that my voice was very small to cosmetic companies. Just wondering how many millions of dollars are made from consumers who purchase cosmetics, dislike the items and just toss them in the trash? Bet its a considerable profit. Wow!!!! I'm really interested in these products now! I couldn't get the CoverGirl website to work but I know that I used to get L6 (Buff Beige) in the old TruBlend foundation. I'd love to try this along with the illumizing primer. I would love to see ALL of your lipstick favs. Lipstick is the one thing I tend to horde, lol. D30 and D40. I did some research. As a WOC I am over the moon for the 40 shade range with great undertones. I prefer smoothing primers. I think its great they created different primers to enclude everyones needs.
Love our videos and the fact that you do wear tests and natural light. I think every foundation you put on looks amazing b/c you have such beautiful skin, which I have said before. If I had your skin I don't think I would wear foundation....it looks flawless when it is bare. If I were to win I would say L30 or L50, they both look to be neutral undertone. Just nothing pink undertone. Thank you for this review!
Hi Elle, I like that you showed you putting on your concealer in double time rather than coming back to camera with it done. I think this foundation looked so nice and the illuminating primer made you glow. Shame about the ingredients but ok for a one off big event. I would really like to see your favourite lipsticks, these days I only wear Tarte lip balms (the ones in a slim cardboard bullet with a hint of colour) as I’m 48 & my lips are getting so thin & are colourless 😞 Anything else looks ridiculous & I don’t like looking made up on an every day basis. I’d also like to hear your thoughts on Bare Minerals loose powder foundation, I recently bought it & so far I like it.
Hi Elle! I would really love if you made a favorite lipstick video! I'd also love it if you could include lip glosses as well because that is what I love best. I'd love also different summer looks, some maybe beachy bronze looks to some a bit wilder with a pop of fun colors. And maybe even drugstore dupes if you were to use higher end pruducts. I'm really happy that the illuminating primer worked so well, that would be the primer I would choose for myself. I think in foundation color I would use either L20 or L30. Great video, thank you!
L80: True Ivory or M10: Golden Natural + the illumination primer. This foundation looked amazing on you!!! I am so intrigued by the primer! I have dry skin so I typically go for an illuminating primer, but it's rare to find one with that silicone feel.

I've only watched one other video on it so far and they hated it and said it was way too drying. they did love the primer as well though but obviously they used a different one. So very glad to see what a difference the illuminating primer makes. Light nude and classic ivory I think lol

Love your videos! I have reached the age of dry skin and never thought I would be able to wear a matte foundation. I think L20 or L60 might work. I am light and use pink or neutral foundations. I look forward to more videos pkus looking back at your prior ones!

On future video ideas, I would love to see something on drug store eye pencil reviews. And, shade selection for eye color. I've been a long time fan of Almay Intense eye pencil in Brown Topaz and discovered this week it has been discontinued 😢 ...with its copper element it popped my blue-green eyes. I wear glasses & loved your recent video on eye makeup for emphasis wearing glasses ...so, I've always been eye pencil dependent, and would love more videos featuring eyes. My life = high humidity year-round, mid-50's, normal to dewy skin (blessed). Thanks Elle!

Hi Elle.. I believe I would wear between L10and L15.. and would be use the illuminating primer. Love all of your videos, I’ve learned so much, and I’m always so inspired!
I like the more peachy nude lipcolors on you, especially since your cheek color is often more peachy - nude than pink imo. The color looks very harmonious & flattering to your natural coloring.
It's difficult to judge foundation shades from online swatches & I've heard this line's lightest shades run dark. Soooo, if you were to send me a bottle I would lean towards the lightest Ivory shade, or even the shade lighter than it. I couldn't tell if the lighter shades were pink toned or not which is often a problem for me when buying Ivory foundation from a drugstore brand. I remember Covergirl smelling strongly of Noxema once upon a time & definitely being marketed as "clean" & "fresh" & aimed at teens. Looks like they are trying to rebrand a bit. I gotta applaud their efforts at inclusion & modernization.
I don't need their primer, I have quite a selection of silicone based primers already from different brands. Smoothing, pore minimizing, illuminating, moisturizing, spf, on & on plus TF Hangover so I'm set :)

Video request: would ❤️to see your recommendations for mature eyes. A flawless eye base. Concealer options, best under eye setting powders high end and drug store options, what foundation you would may be recommend for all the way up under the eye, is that better than concealer? When should we ditch concealer? Include in this routine do’s and don’t of eye cream. Best eye cream paired with which concealer and powder. So using a LOT less words, all about mature under eyes. I think I am M30 or M60, but I wish they would state undertones! If you didn’t have in your video L, M,...I wouldn’t know that was light, medium etc...geez, what good is releasing a ton of colors when you don’t give enough information...so glad you gave info! Would love to try the white primer around my nose area as that is where the wear test is for me...love these foundation videos, and your wear tests throughout the day.
