Aren't there clear rules from the international federation about this? Why doesn't the federation work on clear rules? ? Umpires are officers who make sure rules well respected only.... Cause it's unnatural so unfair for each side to play only according to the pace of the other side here... Maybe be clear just before the game : play according to the pace of the one who serve...?? (the number of serves is equal for each side right?) but that's the decision & responsibility of the international federation...
This umpire should be banned and removed from the umpire team.

@beawarrior2806 yes it was, a few of the Chinese players are known for wasting time at these events, then saying they're not ready when the other players serve is a typical tactic for them, the ref was right to do it

When they unexpectedly defeat Japan pair, I anticipated they would win this match as well, Japan pair is more delicate than France one

But anyway I think that they will be WR#1 in the future.. they're young, but when they play their best, there is not a double in the entire world that can beat them.

裁判第二张黄牌出得有点缺德。中国队拖时并不明显，并且对手和观众也没有这种感觉，在紧要关头，在可判可不判的情况下，出红牌罚中国队一分，明显是落井下石，乘人之危的小人行为。这一点解说员都表示惊讶。这个就像足球比赛两队战平还有三分钟，裁判判防守队一个不明显的禁区内犯规，硬给进攻队一个点球的感觉。
It was very obvious they were delaying the game, China has a reputation for doing it, im just glad the umpires are starting to call them out for it

@@ParrotsTT The French pair is widely known to do quick serve before opponent is ready to gain edge. They do that to a lot of other players and their opponents all hate that. Yuan did do many delay of game handraisings before in a game when playing against one of French brothers, and he was heavily condemed and penalized for his tactic. But this game is different. Yuan's handreading is in general reasonable. The refree was disgusting to attempt to influence the outcome of game by acting like a jerk that is not even agreed by impartial announcers.
Un sentiment d' injustice profonde né dans le coeur des chinois à 9-8, combiné au même moment à une pointe de relâchement chez les français, peut-être aussi un brin de déception ou de honte du fait d' entrevoir l' idée (qu' elle soit vraie ou fausse) de ne plus pouvoir gagner uniquement par eux-mêmes sans coup de pouce subjectif d' arbitrage... on ne le saura jamais, mais ces interventions de l' arbitre, surtout à 8-8, auront pu bénéficier aux chinois, paradoxaloment.
au rugby on dit que l'arbitre a toujours raison car il fait respecter les règles, ici c'est pareil, je vois pas de problème.
Three things irritate me here.
1. Commentators with their useless chatter.
2. Spectators in the front rows with their smartphones.
3. Useless replays that only get in the way.
I will write again, Lebruns always try to urge the opponent to play faster, no one has to play faster! These are humans a sweat can drop to table, a fly can disturb or a flash can disturb players eyes. It was clear lebrun saw the chineese players hand was above and continued to serve, this was not illegal of course but it is definitely inappropiate to table tennis soul.
The Chinese players are doing this on purpose all the time as strategy, to annoy Lebrun and get him off his game. The yellow and red card were correct!!
I agree. Same old same old and alwasy in crucial moment never in the beginning or when they are ahead of course. But I guess Lebruns aare real threats so dodgy behaviour is sometimes the last call against them@@Tobbedans

这两张黄牌吃得不冤枉。中国球员在国内比赛时，养成了拖时间的坏习惯，而国内裁判掌握得很宽，所以出国比赛就老被罚黄牌。这是球员的问题，更是裁判和教练的问题，平时一定要以国际比赛规则来要求队员，不能让他们养成坏习惯。
中國乒超比賽，教練和觀眾水平尚待提升，他們不尊重比賽規則，只求自己球隊的勝利，很沒水準！
人家外国球迷都在说裁判有偏见，干预比赛，你倒是很会自我批评啊。

法国兄弟发球根本不看对面的情况，拿起来就发，已经不是一次两次了。不仅中国队，其他队也一样出过这样的事情。哪个运动发球的不是看着接发球的人准备好了再发的，看看网球和羽毛球。拿着球就闷头一通发，我自己打乒乓球，相当不喜欢这种对手。打球是体育运动，等待对手准备好了再发是道德。中国队员并没有很拖时间。你怎么定义拖时间，拿球自己准备好了就发就正常，不管别人就不正常？可以出台发接发的等待时间的限制，肯定不是法国兄弟这么短。这俩兄弟素质真的堪忧，每次都要整幺蛾子。

Yes, the 1st was for delaying the game on their service, then the 2nd for delaying on the other teams service
