Welcome back, today we are studying in High Hrothgar, an ancient monastery located just below the Throat of the World. These halls will keep us out of the whirling wind on this mountaintop. The isolation of High Hrothgar provides an ideal spot for deep focus and study. The pomodoro technique is a simple but effective method for studying. We will have four 25-minute blocks of study with 5-minute breaks in between.

📝 Quick Study Checklist:
- A bottle of water to stay hydrated. Water will help you work more efficiently and concentrate! 💧
- Your phone or laptop charger. Don't let your battery draining distract you! 🔋
- Headphones to get into focus. Be respectful to those around you and block out the noise. 🎧
- A cup of coffee or tea to keep you sharp if you're feeling tired. ☕
- Your study supplies, whether this is just your computer or a stack of textbooks get them out and accessible. 📚

I absolutely cannot focus on work without something in the background, but finding the background input that is *just right* for my brain to properly focus is so difficult... I've also tried Pomodoro timers before, and I previously just...ignored them? I wouldn't pay attention, I would accidentally skip a break, or get completely derailed partway through a focus session... Something about the combination of elements in these videos is just working perfectly for me. The music, the ambience, the integrated Pomodoro timers with sound cues to make sure I actually notice the work sessions and breaks..... Discovering these videos a couple of weeks ago has made such a difference.

before i start studying today, just want to say...I've struggled with this stuff all the way through university, barely being able to go a minute without getting distracted, scraping through with ok grades but with stressful all-nighters the night before submission on all my assignments.
