I’ve travelled to a lot of Caribbean Islands and I have even been to Europe. But when I think of my childhood adventures I always remember my many summer vacations here. I will always love myrtle beach

I always stay at Compass Cove Resort now , sense 2005 ! I just found a great vibe about this place and the staff is fantastic ! I've also stayed at Caravelle Resort , and Dunes Village Resort I also recommend those places too
Me and my hubby and my daughter stayed at Ocean Park 2 years ago and it really made our trip enjoyable! We're planning to go down this year in June and we are so excited! Such a beautiful place. 🏖 We live in Ohio so it's a bit of a drive but so worth it! I have your videos on repeat! Getting me excited! 😄

I’m from beaufort South Carolina and I went to Myrtle Beach my last spring break in school and me my bestie and family is going September 3 through the 7 and we just keep talking about it it’s gonna be fun
It’s also regularly on the list as top most dangerous cities in the United States, which I didn’t know before going. Pretty much if you mind your business and stay vigilant you will be fine. Don’t let your kids out of your sight on the beach or on the strip.

I enjoy your videos. We are visiting next week. We are renting a house in Garden City Beach. We've been coming to the Myrtle Beach area on and off since the early 90s, and every year since 2007. A quick question. Lots of seafood buffets in MB, and we definitely enjoy going to one every year. Are any of them open? I know there are no buffets open in Orlando as of right now. Thank you!
Thanks Lisa! Yes I know some are open but most are serving you rather than a buffet. But it's still all you can eat. Captain George's is open and so is Crabby Mike's but again they serve you & it's all you can eat per their websites. Have a great trip!

Hi Rich! We haven't stayed at that resort so I can't speak to it specifically, but there is a lot to do in that area. I would recommend looking the resort up on Trip Advisor for reviews. Have a great trip!

We're well thanks for asking! Hope you are too! Looking on the map, those resorts are 7 miles apart. We haven't stayed at either location since we have a house here. Sea Crest is very close to Family Kingdom amusement park. Grande Shores is at the north-most part of the main "strip" on Ocean Blvd. It's a quieter area, less crowded. We hope you have a great trip!

We haven't ever stayed at the Caribbean so I can't give advice there, maybe another viewer can. Yes there is a lot of night time entertainment! Also the SC governor just allowed large venues like theaters to open again. There are a few things that are closed, but the majority are open. Yes that is just South of Family Kingdom Amusement Park that you can see in this video. The South end of Ocean Boulevard tends to be more relaxed than the middle/North end.

We come down almost every year from VA :)..We'll be there Sunday as long as nothing crazy happens...Your videos help me to look forward ;) ..We stay at Ocean Lakes Campground ...for those that may not know, Ocean Lakes is just south of MB in Surfside. Very nice. Very safe. Family friendly! :)..Lots of amenities...water park, pools, etc...they have campsites for various sized campers & RVs, as well as MANY houses to rent. :)...

That could also be an idea for another "review" video..if ya'll wanted to...'.There are actually a few campgrounds w many amenities close...Pirateland, Lakewood, & Ocean Lakes. I'm not sure about the others, but, I know at Ocean Lakes, they will give you a car pass for an hour or 2 (I think?) if you just wanted to come look around...;)
The people staying there made it sketchy. And don’t get me started with what goes down on Ocean Blvd every night past 10. Myrtle beach is a tale of 2 sides. There’s the beach, which is safe at all hours and beautiful, then there’s the front of the hotels and condos on Ocean Blvd at night which is not safe at all hours. I’m naturally a night owl so I noticed a lot of things that the average person might not. Hope I clarified for you. In general I enjoyed my trip, I’ll just be staying in North Myrtle Beach next time.

Sigh... I had to cancel my trip Aug 17-22. My girlfriend who I live with said I would have to quarantine from her for 2 weeks after coming back, and I thought it was too much hassle. She's type 2 diabetic. 8'-(

It’s called Splashes Waterpark, but it’s run by Family Kingdom amusement park which is right across the street.

ocean blvd used to be awesome for cruising in the 80s and 90s, it probably isn't much of a thing now.
In the evening there are still quite a few people crusing.

Why are all these beach towns so ancient looking,they're like you just went back in time 40-50 years.
My guess is it’s because once people get a successful business on that prime property they stay and don’t make many changes.
You passed 3 Hilton Resort properties and did not mention any for them in this video. Two of the properties has the highest occupancy on Ocean Blvd.
I can imagine that any Hilton property is very popular for sure!

Are there taxis there, how do tourists get around
Yes there are taxis, ride share (uber/lyft), and also a bus service that runs from free (for certain routes that are to tourist attractions) to $1.50.
