OMG, I’ve now heard/seen the car I must have. As much as I come here for the bikes that sounds freakin’ awesome 👏
Dude that sounds just soooo good. With all the bikes and the car I would gladly live in your Shop sir. :) haha
Wow! That thing looks and sounds awesome! And yes complements all the other vintage bike stuff!
Car sounds so amazing. 🤘
Don’t need a radio in this beauty 👍👍
Based on the speed of the trees that you were passing, I calculated your speed as....the posted speed limit. Yep.
That was beautiful man! I had the same model car, a 69 SS convertible with a 4 barrel Holly carburetor, cowl induction, and a high performance Hurst shifter.
Invest in a GPS Speedo. Plug and play. No calibration required
17:00, LED garage lights? idk if the LED driver is syncing with frame rate or if its actually dimming in and out.
I actually think the camera is adjusting for flattening the light level outside. The clouds are passing by making the camera alternate between adjusting less and more for brightness making the LED's seem like they fade in and out because their intensity is fixed.
@@skbcid mmm that might be a good point. Although wouldn't it be logic that they would "dim" together with the LED's when the camera adjusts down for rising sun levels outdoors? When he pulls the car out, the lights and walls go dim and then bright again. My best guess is that the car reflects the light into the camera's sensor, making the camera adjust the brightness down making the garage and LED's look dimmer, untill the car is further out and reflects less light in the direction of the camera.
Sounds like Satan's minions being let loose. Cool car.
Nice mix up from the bikes, badass car! Into American muscle cars too so video is perfect
Love the 69 camaro, sir
when i had muscle cars in the 80's, i used to skyjack them like the thumbnail. i had a '71 torino gt that i had a valve inside to control the height of the airshocks on the fly. the cops were sticklers on bumper height, and a $200 ticket is a lot for a high schooler. when you run m50 15's on keystones, you need to keep the fenders up out of the way. i would weld a plate in between those shackles to make them like an h. i have bent them pretty bad doing power slides. it's not cool when you kick the rear over 2" to one side. damn, that sound takes me back.
Just a quick machining tip. When you put something on parallels in a vice, take a deadblow hammer and give the part a smack onto the parallels. I've seen small parts that aren't fully seated on the parallels get twisted and thrown during drilling operations. Great vids!
Gave it a nice slightly rakish stance. Turbskies next? :)
Looks great and sounds great.
Love the camaro, looks and sounds awesome! It was rad with the old sbc and 4 speed but it's a killer car now
I have a 68 Camaro. How did the t-56 fit the tunnel? I'll be using the Holley swap motor mounts.
Love the improvement to the overall stance of the car. Loks sooooo much nicer.
Keep up the great work tyler.
Nick Australia
Hello, any chance you know the backspacing for the front and the rear rim setup?
This car is awesome and sounds amazing.
Is your exhaust having any ground clearance issues? What is the low point that is scraping when you pull in the garage?
nice car!
Love the car. If you ever decide to sell it. Hit me up. I'm interested.
Something different on the channel is good
oh my god does that thing sound good
Its does sound good...
Getting chills too... and I'm in Canada. 👍
What model number hedman headers are you running? Thanks
Hey man where are you in Texas? In in Dallas. And wld like to make a small bike like those 550 and 650s u have. U have a fb or ?????
I'm in Austin. Shoot me an email at ClassicOctane@gmail.com
Taylor the stance looks killer man! I got 18x10’s for my 69 and 275/40/18 tires. I’m hoping it fits and doesn’t rub.
I’m also about to go from drums to 4th gen Camaro disc brakes.
Not sure if you knew or not but you can relocate your shocks inboard the leafs and get them away from your wheels! There are kits you can get to bolt in. I’m thinking about making my own so I have no issues with my disc brake swap.
I can relate, I owned a 67 rs and a 69 Yenko 427, thats engine is raping off nice, I had the yellow and black bumble bee color scheme on the 69, the best year as far as camaro's go. good luck with the build , really love the way it looks and sounds.
Hey man, love your channel! I have a 69 camaro and i’m putting the same rocket wheels you have, love the look with the price (I also want to upgrade in the future) what backspacing are your running on the 18x10s on the back? 5.5 or 6 with possibly a spacer? I also plan to run the 18x8s on the front with 5” backspace, is that what you are running? Any suggestions otherwise from your experience? Thanks man!
Great video, and always educational, but I enjoy the motorcycle videos MMMUCH more...
Be very glad the u bolt snapped when it did. It could have been a lot worse if it had happened with some spirited driving or hard launch. Replace them all with the best ones you can get
I had a similar rubbing problem on my 1970 1/2, Z28. The only way I found to avoid rubbing on the rear wheels is to NOT let any fat chicks in that car. No kidding.
Sounds good too!
Good Luck!
Sharp car like the videos.
I saw your thumbnail and it surprised me. I had not noticed your Camaro looking like a cat in heat. Around 1986 I bought a 68 Firebird that had rear air shocks. It was jacked up in the air like your thumbnail, but the rear tires were 15's, with high sidewalls, a fairly wide tread, and it filled up the wheel wells. Your Camaro looks really good, I'm jealous.
Should always try and put some fluid on whatever your milling tapping or cutting it helps save your tools and bits I'm cheap and use old transmission fluid that I have laying around
My favourite car in my favourite colour. Looks awesome. Also the midnight blue Honda is what I've been wanting for years. If i was in the US I'd be getting you to build one for sure. Keep up the good work mate 👍
love listening to your videos
sounds like my boat.
Great car Tyler. I have never been in a Camaro yet that didn't ride like a lumber wagon. But it's more about speed and performance then it is about ride lol. Please keep making your videos, you do a great job on them. Live Long and Prosper! :)
Good video.... gorgeous car... I have a 2010 ss2...... I love your car brother. Good job and thank you for video.
Awsome looks sounds and goes real good i love camaro.
By the way what was the yellow two door at beginning looks like a Australian holden MONARO. We hwve a few running around down here. Love the video.
Well it is old, but it definitely wasn’t grumpy when it started so you can’t call it a grumpy old car!
Good to see the Camaro back, looks good, but disappointed you own a mill and ordered those parts, anyway always like your videos thanks, keep em coming
no issue with throwing a bit of Camaro stuff in, and yes the right height is now spot on. Looks really good and judging by your facial expressions it goes alright too :)
Tyler, Karen here... just wanted to let you know your inspection is out of date. XD
Love the sound of that.
Man I would love to do the same mods as you did to your Camaro but to a -66 Chevelle👌🏻 One of my dream cars👍🏻
Wow! Love old classic cars n bikes. Please don't wash it under the sun.
Looks and sound great nice car keep the content coming on this project Malcolm Australia
Ride height looks perfect now. Bad ass ride, bud!
NICE!!! LOVE 1st gen Camaros. Nice to see one that isn't completely super high end, exotic everything and unobtainable to most. Keep up the good work
Thanks!
Was super excited to see your Camaro being the video subject again! I will be putting an LS3 into my 69, with the T56 Magnum. Did you need to modify your trans tunnel at all, as well as clearance around the bell housing? I don't recall you saying anything in the prior videos. (and quick side note, which Pittsburg jack stands do you have? Just want to make sure you and the car is safe since they did a recall on certain ones, 61196 & 56371 for the 3 ton ones. Just turned in a pair of mind for the recall).
Keep up the awesome content, and keep on living the dream!
No modifications to the tunnel other than the new shifter cutout. I saw that recall and will double check my stands to make sure they are not the defective ones. Thanks for looking out.
Super nice!
I dig it man. Keep it coming. All of your content is great.
love
consider adding another leaf to the springs
What a life you have. Car sounds awesome 😎
You will not get that sensation from a electric car.
Car is awesome. Sounds and looks great. 👍
Very cool. First time I have seen these brackets
Hey 70 s dragsters are kool 👍💪 Lol 😂
I always wanted a 69 Camaro. Great color also.
Thanks, it's been a bucket list car for me for a long time. My first car was a 67 RS.
My friend had a 69 in high school. He would take me to school in it. Ever since I’ve wanted one. The closest I got was a 73 firebird.
It actually looks better that way.
Which rear springs do you have?
Hotchkis 3in drop. I would prefer them to be about 2" but these shackles got me sorted.
@@ClassicOctane awesome, I’m gonna go with the 1.5” and maybe lower it with a pad.
That was cool.Tayler.Where did the yellow doner car go?
It's around the corner now towards the back of the yard so my wife doesn't have to look at it. I need to sell or scrap it soon.
What mufflers are you using? Sounds killer
Borla ATAK
Sweet ride Taylor!
That’s a wicked car
Are those rocket racing attack wheels? If so, how do you like them?
Yes, the quality is great for the money. I really wanted Forgeline wheels. These got me close to the same look for a 1/4 of the price.
Love the stance of the car. What backspacing and tire size are you running?
second
Looks good!
yeet
Hey Man, is the engine of the Camaro stock or is it swapped?
So you didn't at all watch this video, huh...
