    17:00, LED garage lights? idk if the LED driver is syncing with frame rate or if its actually dimming in and out.

    • @wemel007
      @wemel007 4 роки тому

      I actually think the camera is adjusting for flattening the light level outside. The clouds are passing by making the camera alternate between adjusting less and more for brightness making the LED's seem like they fade in and out because their intensity is fixed.

    • @wemel007
      @wemel007 4 роки тому

      @@skbcid mmm that might be a good point. Although wouldn't it be logic that they would "dim" together with the LED's when the camera adjusts down for rising sun levels outdoors? When he pulls the car out, the lights and walls go dim and then bright again. My best guess is that the car reflects the light into the camera's sensor, making the camera adjust the brightness down making the garage and LED's look dimmer, untill the car is further out and reflects less light in the direction of the camera.

    when i had muscle cars in the 80's, i used to skyjack them like the thumbnail. i had a '71 torino gt that i had a valve inside to control the height of the airshocks on the fly. the cops were sticklers on bumper height, and a $200 ticket is a lot for a high schooler. when you run m50 15's on keystones, you need to keep the fenders up out of the way. i would weld a plate in between those shackles to make them like an h. i have bent them pretty bad doing power slides. it's not cool when you kick the rear over 2" to one side. damn, that sound takes me back.

    Just a quick machining tip. When you put something on parallels in a vice, take a deadblow hammer and give the part a smack onto the parallels. I've seen small parts that aren't fully seated on the parallels get twisted and thrown during drilling operations. Great vids!

    Taylor the stance looks killer man! I got 18x10’s for my 69 and 275/40/18 tires. I’m hoping it fits and doesn’t rub.
    I’m also about to go from drums to 4th gen Camaro disc brakes.
    Not sure if you knew or not but you can relocate your shocks inboard the leafs and get them away from your wheels! There are kits you can get to bolt in. I’m thinking about making my own so I have no issues with my disc brake swap.

    Hey man, love your channel! I have a 69 camaro and i’m putting the same rocket wheels you have, love the look with the price (I also want to upgrade in the future) what backspacing are your running on the 18x10s on the back? 5.5 or 6 with possibly a spacer? I also plan to run the 18x8s on the front with 5” backspace, is that what you are running? Any suggestions otherwise from your experience? Thanks man!

    I had a similar rubbing problem on my 1970 1/2, Z28. The only way I found to avoid rubbing on the rear wheels is to NOT let any fat chicks in that car. No kidding.
    Sounds good too!

    I saw your thumbnail and it surprised me. I had not noticed your Camaro looking like a cat in heat. Around 1986 I bought a 68 Firebird that had rear air shocks. It was jacked up in the air like your thumbnail, but the rear tires were 15's, with high sidewalls, a fairly wide tread, and it filled up the wheel wells. Your Camaro looks really good, I'm jealous.

    Was super excited to see your Camaro being the video subject again! I will be putting an LS3 into my 69, with the T56 Magnum. Did you need to modify your trans tunnel at all, as well as clearance around the bell housing? I don't recall you saying anything in the prior videos. (and quick side note, which Pittsburg jack stands do you have? Just want to make sure you and the car is safe since they did a recall on certain ones, 61196 & 56371 for the 3 ton ones. Just turned in a pair of mind for the recall).
    Keep up the awesome content, and keep on living the dream!
