I actually opened up my One. It has the same logic board as the Live. And plenty of space. I’m actually interested to power it up with a Live battery. I like the all in one aspect. But I’m now sure the firmware has support for it. This one is pretty dope. There’s also the Omnicharge. Unfortunately none ship to Romania. Crap
@@Fluxwithit Have you connected an Akai Force to it? If so, I want to know how long before the battery is empty? Sorry if I ask a question whose answer is on your video, but I don't understand your language only with translator, sorry.
Personally think this is better than internal batteries...if only mpc one had functions written on like live...on actual buttons ...think playing in club..yep Id swap lol
Thanks for this, Flux! Do you recommend this over the 7.4-volt under-$40 solution that everyone is becoming very familiar with, for the MPC One? Many argue it won't damage the One. Some say it will. Curious what you think, with your expertise. Thanks, man!
I find it strange that it powers it at all to be honest. The force , x and live all call for 18v of power, I’m sure they regulate internally down from there a bit. But because they send cv I don’t think 7.4 would work well. Even at 0-5v range that would be pushing it. So it might power the unit but I’m doubtful it would handle all the functionality. As for harming the unit. It would likely shut itself down instead of causing real harm. But personally I’d rather provide the recommended voltage.
@@Fluxwithit Much appreciated. I feel the same way. While those tiny video camera batteries are cool to velcro to the side of an MPC One, I had a bad feeling about the videos where everyone was like "it works! It's awesome"... yeah, but for how long? That's the question.
I plug my force and it flashed and then powered off as well as this battery. The battery went from 85% down to one. Currently charging. I’m sure there’s something else for me to figure out but that’s where I am so far.
Just took delivery of the force and the battery pack based on your recommendation . Works great cheers dude
Glad to hear :)

Will it work with mpc one and can you show how you connect it up to it
Are you still successfully using this solution? Great video.
Thanks to the great video can you please tell me what the polarity is on the output is the middle pin positive or negative ?
Center positive unless you use an inverted tip.
Thanks for the info and time spent on the research
Great video. I recently picked one up but none of the adapters seem to fit well, just wondering which adapter you used?
Cool product. Thanks for sharing this.
Great vid Mr Flux 🙌
Good Looking Out!
Cool, thank you, great review!
Added to my shopping list
Thanks for the video! Will this work for the Elektron Octatrack MKI?
Hello with this battery and the power plugged in what is the autonomy?
Tex .... I don’t think that word means what you think it means
@@Fluxwithit Once connected akai force what is the autonomy?

Tex yea , like 6 hours.+ long time
Which amount of volt would the MPC One and the X need? Thx for the effort you put in, researching all that stuff.
MakingMadBeats if I recall those are 19v inputs so setting it to 20v will be fine
great info thanks man
Great vid. Dope beat.
Anier 15 thanks much

Still going strong? Are you still getting the same amount of life now from when you first got it?
Yep, use it every day
Sweet!
Hi, do you think it can power Maschine+? Thanks
