POTS falls under the umbrella of dysautonomia which desperately needs further research and treatment. “French fries and water” is not enough treatment for POTS patients that can no longer hold a job bc they spend half the time passing out. Additionally, there are many more symptoms that contribute to POTS and it can be fully disabling.
