- In this episode, we travel to Dunolly, in Victoria. We stayed in our campervan at the local caravan park, where we give you a tour. We take you into town and show you around and things you can do when visiting.
The town began during the Victorian Gold Rush. One of the largest natural gold nuggets ever found, the legendary "Welcome Stranger", was discovered in nearby Moliagul township. We were lucky enough to see a steam train pass through the town, which we share and local interests we come across.
We hope you enjoy our channel. We enjoy part-time van life, creating weekly episodes that are live at 5pm (AEST) on Sundays, and sharing our experiences on our travels with our cavoodle, Twyla. In our episodes we stay at free and paid campsites, showing our tips and tricks on making life on the road easier and fun. Come join us on our adventures!

Another great episode guys. Dunolly is a great looking town. The caravan park is pretty with the pond. Dean Mum said you are a meany putting 3 chilies in the soup. She said, you should get a spanking 😂😂. Your drone footage is amazing very well done. Ideas of future towns to visit the snow fields during summer mt baw baw, Redwoods in Warburton, the free camping on 90 mile beach Gippsland : - Golden Beach. Alpine National Park. It is not Victoria but is not far over the border, it has natural spring pool, lots of places to explore Kosciuszko National Park has camping - great place for summer. Snowy Mountains highlands are great too. Have you been to Walhalla, Buchan

Its great that you visited Dunolly. It was a good suggestion. I have fond memories of staying around the area many years ago. I am looking to get back up there and perhaps stay at the caravan park. The bakery and good coffee is always a winner with me 🙂

Another awesome episode! If you guys don't mind a curry, I would recommend our favorite, the Ayam Malaysian Rendang Curry. Awesome slow cooked over the fire with some chuck steak.

I’d be happy with the Curly Worley that was sitting on the bench. Love curry and all your simple meals. You have to put cucumber and mint into the yoghurt, yumm. You need to look at Dartmoor in Victoria, beautiful town with a great free camp, beautiful pub with fantastic meals. A cafe, a museum and an Op Shop, museum and Op Shop open Wednesday, Thurs, Friday and Saturday. If you come at the right time you might even get to go to our little market. Only 350 people in the town, very pretty and very well cared for. That’s a great Cafe you went into and they’re so friendly. Love following your travels. 🥰

Thank you for that suggestion. We’re always looking for somewhere new to visit and will definitely stop by at some point and make sure we’re there when the market is on. We’re still regretting that we didn’t get to see the market in Violet town when were there last? but we might do another special trip just to go visit the market another time. @@kingdeanoadventures. You know we’ve been through that town a number of times and sure it’s friendly but we didn’t know so much was there. Though out beautiful Dartmoor is just so lovely, so green and probably one of the best free camps I’ve seen there’s nowhere near as much here as there is at Dunolly, I was honestly surprised. I love Curly Worleys too.
U should get a money pouch and get $50 per pay out or trip as all markets or old town and Electronic Machines are never always up and running I've been caught 3 times not knowing money in accounts...
Or get a bottle at home for spare cash...if you have really money...
Also if you think that Indian food was good from Coles try pne from Aldi's they have bottles with spices on top and sauce in the bottle and it is fantastic big time...try with Adam 2 Chillies on the side as it's quite hot...
Yes, Kingdeano U are in the Country hours people open at 9am and close at 12pm to go home for a Roast Lunch or family life or Markets....
Why don't U go to Bridge VIC suppose to be nice...
Cork Tree was fantastic U brake some off to make a floater for fishing...I hope that doesn't give anyone Ideas...NOW...

Yes you are right we should always carry a bit of cash on us specially in these tiny towns.
Next time I’m at Aldi, I’ll have to grab some of these Indian bottle with spices on top and try it. We both love Indian food.
When it comes to opening hours in small towns, we have been caught out a few times. Definitely gonna have to start remembering about the butchers closing. Country butchers are the best and I hate when we miss out.
If we ever get into fishing, will have to go back to get some of that cork tree to make our floaters. lol 😂
So listen learnt from this trip must have cash next time or NO food...
Heater is working again but we thinks it’s on the way out.
