I wasn’t even looking for a new truck, I’ve been driving my 95 z71 since highschool, but just happened to accidentally click on my dream truck one day on the marketplace and decided it was time to get a diesel, 2002 5.9 single cab long bed from Arizona in eastern Missouri. Still have the z71 but I have to agree, it’s just more fun driving the diesel. Can’t wait to see the way this lml goes and how my 24v goes!!
I have a 2011 F-250 6.7 Diesel with 339,000 miles on it all stock that I daily drive, I do use it for hauling occasionally, it has been very dependable, I love it.
diesel costs more because it is ultra low sulfer diesel, refined more to remove sulfer ( which lubricated fuel ) and make fuel compatible with emmissions components. same emmissions that use EGR and DPF filter and kill diesels faster. blame the folks that liked to "roll coal".
I've never really wanted a diesel. I would have been cool getting a diesel mini truck, but they don't make mini trucks anymore and so I got a gas turbo 2.3l 4 cylinder ranger. But now I need a diesel my ranger can't tow 14,000 lbs.
Im glad im in western canada and i can buy a new duramax and have it fully deleted... Unfortunately cant afford a new truck if I was to buy a newer truck it id try out the new 6.6 vortec gasser ive heard lots of great things about them the new diesels are pain in the ass to work on to expensive to fix and maintain
Yeah I've heard good things about the new 6.6 gas too, I can't afford a new one as well haha. So you can buy diesels new without the DPF or does that have to be done aftermarket?
@@BADZ71 Yes its aftermarket but I have a GM dealer that will still honor the warranty if i were zo buy a new l5p and have it deleted and straight piped👊 I got a friend that sends deletes and tunes to guys in the US
Well I do have to say when Trump was in office I was paying 1.25 for diesel now I’m paying 3.45 and I have paid as much as 4.75 vote the right way in November and hopefully it will go way down again

Hopefully you’ve already done the CP4 ditch for the CP3……
Not yet, it's next on the list before anything else.
"exaust job" LOL nice way to rephrase it.
