I’ve had Galaxies and iPhones for many years, 6 years off and on with iPhones and 6 years straight with Galaxies. From my experience if you want a device that’s feature packed with the latest mobile tech and tend to change devices frequently get a Samsung. My last Galaxy was a 7 and it had features new iPhones still can’t do. But they are more glitchy and over time their performance drops quickly due to lack of updates. iPhone is more about the long term user experience that’s directly related to its ecosystem. iPhones alone are boring especially in comparison to a Samsung Galaxy. An iPhone with a iPad is better. iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch and you’re starting to enjoy the seamless integration of devices. iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Air Pods and MacBook and now you’re like why can’t everything work like this. Open your MacBook and it turns on instantly with no password or fingerprint because the Apple Watch verified you. Your Air Pods automatically switch from the phone to the MacBook. You continue working on the document you were writing on the iPad right where you left off. Text messages that pop up are answered from the Mac without ever picking up the phone. On top of that, even though they are all expensive devices, they’re built to last. Not only in materials and build quality but also processing power. That’s Apple magic. It’s never been about one device it’s always been about the ecosystem and the iPhone is the key to the walled garden.

My old Note 9 drastically reduced from 16h of use to 10h at best, at my first month of use (I bought it 1 year after launch). I don't want to update and have this battery issue on my S22 Ultra. Since it would be a pain in the ass to reverse the process. In terms of options, modifications, camera (30x zoom), display, ultra-fast charger, S pen, processor, Samsung did an excellent job, and Samsung as a mobile phone with countless options is better than the IPhone. As a long-time user of the Samsung galaxy series, I can say that I'm bored of the Samsung ecosystem from the look of the icons, home screen, etc.
I am completely disappointed with my s22 ultra! I barely get 4 hours SOT and I don't play games or heavily use my phone. I have a watch connected but even then. I also have the exynos variant and it's terrible. The hardest part is I love the camera set up 🤔
Too bad you aren't using the s-pen....that's a superb feature of the phone. I've had all the Notes since the Note 2 and this one is just another Note. The battery on the iPhone Pro Max is better, and is the standby time. You didn't use Dex either.

TY so much for being here! The subtitles get auto-loaded by UA-cam - so it's still transcribing the video since it was just posted!! Should be up soon!
Samsung photos are usually higher contrast and more saturated while iphone images are more “realistic” (duller than samsung) and allow for post, video such as reversing cameras without stopping recording, and smoother zooms make the ultra better - further if you plan to edit videos on device as well. Its a pretty common opinion so i didn’t bother explaining it srry.

My old Note 9 drastically reduced from 16h of use to 10h at best, at my first month of use (I bought it 1 year after launch).
I don't want to update and have this battery issue on my S22 Ultra.
Since it would be a pain in the ass to reverse the process.
The battery is lasting 12-18 hours now on my S22U
I'm not facing any major issues, sometimes the audio from Facebook/Instagram videos got out of sync but it is solved just power cycling the device.
But I really would like to have some of the improvements those new updates have.
My 2 phones are Snapdragon.
Did anyone have any problem with the battery after update?
Your are the first who I heard saying that you couldnt see the screen in direct sunlight.. This screen in one of... if not The brightest screen on the marker with its 1700 nits
Did you use the extra brightness feature? You never disclosed that. It'll make it even brighter than Max brightness
Brightness is reduced intentionally so that the phone won't overheat while using cameras
You're the only one reviewer that says s22u video is better than ip13pro and camera is better on ip while all youtube reviewers say otherwise
8:28 all are saying samsung for photos and iphone for vedio 🙄🙄, but you saying differently?
My one plus 10 pro give around 8 hours screen on time
i have found the fast drainage on all the notes i have had. 3 10 s22 ultra so it is not just you
It's because when it over heats it dims the screen automatically
Fossil, turn on subtitles on this video! I love watching your videos, but I don't speak English. I always watch with subtitles, but this one is not available.
TY so much for being here! The subtitles get auto-loaded by UA-cam - so it's still transcribing the video since it was just posted!! Should be up soon!
This man said the iPhone have better photo quality and the S22 Ultra have better video quality. Wtf.
The screen darkens when the device is overheating.
Oh snap! My S22 ultra is arriving today! Now I'm gonna have to return it
1st who says iphone has better photos and samsung better video 😅
Facts ❤
8:40 you meant subjective?
The poor battery on Samsung devices is the main reason for me to stick with iPhone
Is not poor, the problem is the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a phenomenal battery that now we use it as a baseline.
@@eskeda03 so samsung shouldn't charge 1.2k for a phone that is inferior to its competition i am a samsung fanboy but the s22 ultra is a downgrade in battery and speakers and design it feels like a brick a 230 grams brick with case and screen protector on it might reach 250 or more grams im sticking with the s22 plus i can get it for around 830 dollars where im from and it feels like an actual phone instead of a downgraded brick
@@Aemond-qj4xt Agree with you, feels like a downgrade compared to S21 Ultra that has better speakers and even an option of 16gb of RAM.
I’m still switching to the s22U from my iPhone 12 Pro Max I am at home most of the time so I can charge my phone I’ll rather be able to customise my phone then stick with my boring iPhone for another 4 years
@@eskeda03 so it is poor, the competition increased the gap here. If samsung wants to put a “iPhone 13 pro max’ish” price tag on their S22 Ultra… then they should be able to catch up with the so called baseline the 13 pro max is setting.
Wish Samsung sorted things out better, I’d be having a Galaxy… but it’s just not worth my money. Not gonna make any compromises for €1249 starting price.
Oppo enco x2 review
Green tint issue
Am I joke to you 🤣
Turn on auto brightness. That is the ONLY way you will get the full screen brightness. Thank me later
Already tried :( still suffers under the intense heat. Most people say since the phone got hot it’s throttling
Beautiful city. Where you at?
Philly!
@@ChilledFossilofficial Nice. Im gonna have to come thru some day. Still wanna try Gino's Philly cheese steak and Dalesandro's. Have you tried etiher of them and if so which is better? LOL.
@@asianstud7 Sorry to say I actually haven't :(( food reviews soon haha
@@ChilledFossilofficial OK that's cool. Lol
I disagree with any phone having better video or picture quality
