High noise? It is really quiet, I think. Mine is running 6 feet behind me and I barely notice the smooth fan noise. I suggest using ducting to disperse the air movement noise and to separate the air circulation. I love my HDi65 unit.
compared to my other dehumidifier I thought this fan was a bit louder. It could be because it was on concrete with nothing to absorb sound. Not sure if ducting would help, it's worth a try. I gave this unit to my son and his basement is carpeted and he really likes it. Noise wasn't an issue at all.
@@joecool4656 still running, no issues. I did encounter a lot of water in the floor under the machine and in the drain pan. I took the drain hose off and filter off, dumped it and it hasn't happened again.. Really not sure what caused the back-up maybe a kink in the hose? Defrost? Drain hole lower floor drain ? Not sure but it's never happened again and it runs every day (well, since it's winter it doesn't get nearly as humid but it runs if we're over 43%)
so you set it at 45%, so it will run until it reaches 42% and then turn off? when will it kick back on - at 48%? in other words do you find the 3% differential works at both end? i just bought two of them and I find that the humidity gauges are off by 5% as the manual indicates. so if i set it at 55%, it will take the basement down to 50% actual based on two hygrometers that i know are correct. understanding your units is important - don't blindly go with the digital read out otherwise you will run them needlessly. If i set my units to 50% on the digital read out, they will really be trying to take the humidity down to 44 or 45% actual --- which in my neck of the woods in a basement is almost impossible. i think it would just wear out the life span quicker than necessary.
I've not paid close attention to the numbers but I agree the digital readout and actual humidity are different (I also have a hygrometer in the basement) I also use a second dehumidifier just to see how the numbers match...they don't lol. 3-5% difference is about right
Plug it in and set the humidity level that is comfortable for you... most likely between 40-50% Once this is set the machine will maintain that humity within a couple %
install off ground, and level connect drain tube plug in push on button press up pr down triangle buttons to change/set humidity trigger % example, 55% means when relative humity heashes 55% +/- 5, unit starts and does its thing until humity drops to 55%

@@skinners100honestreviews3 I ended up returning mine. It seems Aloriar is better suited to warmer more humid conditions than my cold air situation.
Thanks for the review. Any updates after a year? Thanks again.
Still running! I have one and my son has one both are still drawing moisture out of the air like day 1
@@skinners100honestreviews3 Thanks
@@skinners100honestreviews3How are they still running two years in now? Thank you

hi -- can you elaborate on the 3% differential you mention.

How do u use it?
You have the option to duct the exhaust if you are in a …. ???
The wording is cut off.
Crawlspace
Failed in 1.5 years for me. Warranty is bs you have to pay for shipping to and from their facility which is for a 50lbs item. Not worth the price
Well that's a bummer
@BartmanMi to be fair those are 5x the price.. I did end up getting a free replacement and it's been working for the last 3 months.
Same here
I still don't get how to use it

@@skinners100honestreviews3 ty what the central control button for?
install off ground, and level
connect drain tube
plug in
push on button
press up pr down triangle buttons to change/set humidity trigger %
example, 55% means when relative humity heashes 55% +/- 5, unit starts and does its thing until humity drops to 55%
@salvab13 the instruction manual should have a full description and use of the central control button
