I know it's a bit hard to hear audio. This might help.
**TRANSCRIBED TEXT FROM ALI'S SPEECH - transcription done 5 years ago in original video upload. -
"We black people are kinda funny about music. We aren’t going to follow someone unless they’ve got some Soul. Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Micheal Jackson, but, the only white boy that had soul and could sing as good as ANY of them was Elvis. A lot of great singers who are black, but, one man literally as good as anybody, put all those brothers together there’s none any better than Elvis Presley.
Singing ability, he a had everything, and he was pretty, I know. And when it comes to boxing nobody has the class, the style, the wit, the speed and beauty of Ali. And when it comes to singing nobody had everything like Elvis.
And the last thing, we must understand, he did lot for poor people, he cared for people, he had a good heart, he just wasn't a person who was great with talent, but he was great in spirit and with God in his heart, and this is great too.
I realize how good I am in my profession, I wouldn't praise nobody if he don't deserve it, because I am the greatest of all time in boxing, in boxing. I said boxing !
But I'm telling you, not just you all, the Elvis fans, so naturally you praise Elvis, he's of European race as you are, but I'm Black, I'm a Islamic, I'm 100% different from you.
But I’ll tell the world Elvis was the greatest of all time. I'm a Muslim who's black who stands up for what he believes. I don't have to say what I don't feel, I'm not false, I don't have to say this. I have no Bosses. I'm free.
He to me, is one of the greatest singers, actors and all round men of all time.” ~
RIP to both Elvis & Ali

I don't know if there are that many people that know the friendship between Elvis and the late great Jackie Wilson. When Jackie Wilson got sick and was put into a nursing home they were going to throw him out because he couldn't pay and were going to put him in a county home. Elvis found out about it, and called nursing home and said that he would pay for everything. And he sent flowers every week. That continued until Elvis passed away. When Jackie Wilson passed away the the only photo on the side up his nightstand was a picture of him and Elvis. Just a little trivia for you. 🤗

He was born and raised in a Black ghetto so of course his friends and his culture were also Black. People who complain are racist, because his skin happened to be white! His very existence broke the segregation law! He was more comfortable with the Black friends (so many!), and fellow artists. You see this in some events where he is drawn to them like a magnet. And how he defended his Black backing singers and said if they are not with me then you can stuff your million dollars, in Texas. They agreed and he displayed his ladies in his open vehicle with him, right around the whole stadium arriving at the stage for the concert!

This was an Elvis Memorial at Graceland. Ali was also quoted as saying at that memorial service off camera: “I always wanted Elvis to drive me down Beale Street in a convertible, so his hometown could see that Muhammad Ali and Elvis Presley were good friends. Then I’d bring him to Louisville and do the same thing. Maaan, that would have been historic,” Ali said.
This video above was taped during Elvis Week on August 16, 1985, at a memorial service for Elvis put together by his friend George Klein.

It was Elvis' idea to go riding down Beale Street to show the world that a white man and a black man can be friends and brothers and not enemies. Elvis felt that it could end racism in America. But unfortunately Ali had to cancel because his mother was ill and hospitalized in Louisville. They had planned to do it another time but that time never came because of Elvis' untimely death.

Wonderful stuff. 2 great men. Ali spoke the truth....he invited Elvis to his training camp in Pensylvania (Elvis stayed there for 2 weeks and no one in public/media knew about it). Elvis's mystique and the sensationalist side of what's been written about him ruined his reputation for some people. Now thanks to this medium and to classy people such as yourself, the record is being set straight. Thank you.

Thanks Captain Tom!! I think Mr. Ali, RIP, said It very eloquently, the respect he had for Elvis! I think Quincy Jones at one time stated that Elvis was a Racist, but later changed his view. Back in the recent past, there was a bunch of that, back and forth. I myself, I'll cling to my belief. That is to say that Human Souls don't have a color tint to them. I Trust my creator, and believe him when he said he made Man in his own image! Period. There's also the Veteran in me that knows we all Bleed the same color. Bless you Captain Tom, for shining the light of Truth on this Man. A Man who Loved all his Brothers and Sisters, Elvis!! Hand Salute!

It wasn't the funeral service for Elvis since the latter died eight years earlier. But it was a memorial of sorts.
I think it was 1974 that Elvis wanted to get away from it all, so he asked Ali if he could come to his training camp. And that's what he did for a spell.

Captain, this is another great video Sir. Thanks. If I can quickly comment on some of the comments about Ali and Elvis sadly not getting to ride around, I'd like to stress that Ali and Elvis did get to hang out in 1975 or 1976 at Ali's training camp in Deer Lake, PA. Ali brought Elvis and his entourage out for a few days so that Elvis could get away from the craziness of his life. (The only thing I ever wonder about is if Ali seriously tried to talk to Elvis about his prescription drug problem) This was reiterated later on in both Elvis biographies and at-length anecdotes from Bundini Brown and Grandmaster Dillman. For people who thought Elvis was just an indoctrinated racist, I always find it interesting that the GOAT Muhammad Ali was quoted as saying in an interview that he didn't admire no man- but, if he had to answer, he'd answer Elvis. So it's worth noting that Elvis and Ali did hang out and there's photographs from three separate occasions of them together for us, at least. Thanks Captain!

Muhammad Ali was as as “ pretty” as Elvis. Elvis loved Muhammad Ali and was thrilled when he met him. True treasures from the American landscape. If you have a chance to watch the video of Elvis and the Black Community 1&2 it is very enlightening on what being different than others meant in the 50’s and early 60’s. Elvis had to deal with apartheid in that period of time and contributed to the support of civil rights.

Elvis grew up with Black people. And his Mom is also Native...both her parents are mixed with Choctaw/creek and Cherokee. But they lived in a primarily black neighborhood and his friends that shared the same big yard between the several families were black. They live to tell the stories of their childhood together. They talked about how they would all go to the revival meetings and how his mom and him could dance...that his mom did a mean Charleston and that Elvis had rhythm. They went to lots of house parties and Juke Joints. So ofcorse he is gonna be totally influenced, this is what he knew!! I think if people understood his beginnings it would make sense to his being a bridge of several things...he was born at the crossroads...of cultures and a time where integration was at a tipping point and he literally Rocked it the other way with music and youth uprising!! He was a bridge!! Often those who bring in great changes like this are born into it in the middle...as if it were the purpose of their being born at the cross roads. Chosen to be a bridge...closing the gaps and making new ways to merge. No he wasn't a racist. He also liked his skin when it turned brown in the sun. And he loved making his hair black like a raven. He was proud of his native blood. He was often casted in movies as being "other" . He was sort of ambiguously white...lol. Funny how Lisa Marie married her dad when she married Michael. Not many know...but Elvis often took his daughter to play with the Jackson's particularly with Michael when they all played in Las Vegas. Elvis loved them.

@@jayviviano109 Thank you so very much for that. It's means a lot to me to understand what he was saying. Ordinarily I can hear the reactors and music but to me it sounded like it was muffled. Again, thanks.

People (45 years after he's gone) still call Elvis King of Rock'n roll, but he did not like that, he considerd that the only King was God, but I consider him to be the King of Music, but what do you think, is he good enough to be called a Music King?
Here are some of his Gospel songs:
Amazing Graze, Take me home precisous Lord, How great though art, You'll never walk alone, You gave me a mountin, Crying in the chapel, Why me Lord (written by Kris Kristofferson), Unchained melody, I'm not sure if it's a gospel song but Walk a mile in my shoes and many more...
    .
If you prefer ballad songs then look at these:
My Way, Suspicius minds, In the Ghetto (written by Mac Davies), Memories (written by Mac Davies), If I can dream that is a tribute (parts of it is taken directly from the I can dream speach by MLK) to Martin Luther King JR and senator Robert Kennedy, Walk a mile in my shoes (listen to the words in the beginning), Make The World Go Away, Bridge Over Troubled Water, An American Thrillergy, Hurt, Sweet Caroline, Just Pretend, What now my love, Are you lonesome tonight (laughing versin, or not), Oh Danny Boy (for you Irish people) remember that he sang over 700 songs...
There are some videos of when Elvis joking and messing up, he loved to joke around and pretend that he did not have control, but he had total control, he acctually conducted his musicans and back up choirs all the time !!
He is the only person to have 2 records gone to sell Gold and 2 to to sell Platinum since he died.
Elvis is also in almost every genre of Music Hall of Fame (5 that I'm sure of), no one else is in more then perhaps 2.
Not bad for someone who never took a single singing lesson, yes he sang in church so perhaps he learned a little there, right?
    .
Something else that people tend to overlook:
He always conducts his musicans and backup singers, he never gets credit for being able to do that...
Then imagen you are a singer, you have great musicans, you have great backup singers, no Guest Artists, no Autotune, no Lipsinging and no Fireworks, now all is about your skill, could you handle that pressure?
That is what Elvis did in over 1000 concerts, despite having problems with his health, like his Glaucoma, the headlights must have hurt his eyes like crazy...
He sang over 700 songs, I wonder how he could remember them all, he never vrote a song himself, so he had to remember other peoples songs, well that in it self is amazing in it self...
By the way he had Glucomea and that must have been difficult being in the headlights all the time, that could be why he sometimes closes his eyes, but also sometimes squinting !!
Elvis suits was made of 100% Polyester, or 100 cotton (I'm not sure witch one), it was originally a karate suit, it was very light, but it was hot, so it made him sweat a lot, he got some bad press about that, but if you give it all then you will sweat, it should be positive, right?
About the deep basevoice JD Sumner (a member of The Stamps Quartet) is the Basso Profundo, I think that it's called that, it is the deepest base singer there is...

    So MR. CAPTAIN...
This is proof Elvis was not racist.
People did state..for years Elvis was racist.
The rumor started in the 60s when a black entertainer did become jealous of Elvis dance moves..That entertainer told our black race not to patronize Elvis. So blacks did not.
We watched Elvis on 📺TV only. We never saw
black. .people attend the concerts. Only his group went...Those singing and dancing group.
Elvis lost sales...and money during our 70s..
Elvis did panic. HE became ..poor.
Even though he did have 20 million dollars. Elvis should have been a
    billionaire in 1977.!!!
That 20 million Elvis had was not enough to pay the debt.
Elvis did gain almost 100 pounds eating oily foods .
    160.pounds to almost 255 pounds.
He did eat too much in secret. He knew he would go.under...financially.
    No.way out..Broke!!
The 💊pills popping took him out!!
    But it's an accidentally death.
He was on tour..... Elvis had lost 20 pounds...with dental work to the teeth.
He wanted to look good on cameras again. He had no..intention of dying.
If he wanted to die, he would not have exercised to lose this weight or go to a dentist for a tooth acne...
He went to a dentist a few hours before he died.
He took those 💊pills to feel good but he over did it
Too many of all different types of pills were in the system. Maybe over 12 different types?!
Hr dropped dead in the bathroom. He fell off the toilet 🚻!!!
The black entertainer told us, "The Blue Seud Shoes"
