I think that 2.21 will be released in about 3-4 months. He says it will take him 6 months to create 2.3, but I don't think it will take that long for 2.21, and I think he's almost finished, but wants to release it later.
Versus mode will probably not come in 2.21 because when u click on it ingame, it says "coming soon" but when u click on the map it will say that its coming in 2.21
Rubrub needs to hire a few doods w him to make thus shit quicker tbh. Cuz i feel like he has a huuuge boulder working on gd alone so a few ppl working on textures with him would be good or smth
The only issue is that more workers would probably need more ways to get money. As GD is a single purchase, and very cheap, it may be hard to support to many people’s wages. And texture probably are the things that take the least amount of time.
@@bedrocklolgame I doubt the majority of revenue comes from the free games, as nobody consistently plays the free games. While it has ads there aren’t too many tbh, and anybody who actually played the free games a lot probably just went ahead and bought the real version. And even then, the ad money from those probably wouldn’t be enough to support a team of developers.
