40mph would be sweet spot and also 70mph as least for my TL but i dont think i get 39mpg highway that would be nice tho lol thanks for the tip!

damn that gets better mileage than my pretty much unmodified TL even without that additive, I have an 05 AT that's has rear muffler deletes and mid muffler delete and gets 32 mpg with a/c on and speeds around 60 mph.

Would I still be able to get gas mileage this great if had only the powerline combustion booster without the engine setup that you have?
Need to ditch the flowmasters for better exhaudt flow. You know my suggestion lol when I put one on my cavalier back in the day I had essentially straight pipes with just resonators and when I just changed it out for the muffler it went fro 33mpg to 38-40mpg on the highway even getting on it.
The flowmasters are hollow idk why but ima keep them on for now. i literally mentioned you in my newest video i recorded today and KNEW you were gonna say that Lol
@@TexasHondaChannel lol all the flowmasters I've dealt with have different angled plates inside to redirect exhaust flow around them before coming out. Only resin I talk about these mufflers is cause I've ran them on multiple vehicles and they work great and both creating a venturi effect to pull exhaust out but also creating a nice tone.

Nobody believes me but here's proof j series engines love load and run hella lean under light load the 05 would probly get same if I didn't enjoy driving it so much 😁

Driving habit helps. On long trips o can get average about 26mpg in our expedition. With ac on and the 5.4 v8. I know 26 isn't that great but for a big suv its not bad at all especially running 80+ mhp most of the way.

@@TexasHondaChannel yeah average is 14 city 20 highway. I can sometimes push city to bout 16ish but alota stop n go so it stays near 10-14 range.
My TLS is a six speed and it gets almost as much mpg as my STI and my STI is on 40 lbs of boost so I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ve done the plugs, oil, tire pressure but for mods I did the PLM J pipe, muffler deletes and short ram intake. Where did you get that octane booster?

What was your mileage like before the supercharger setup?
It was around 32mpg when I did do a fill up I measured but that was before cleaning and flow testing injectors too.
I do have 38 mpg highway original motor with 200k miles. I did custom CAI. 3.7 awd tl manifold and throttle. EGR by-pass. lightweight pulley (waste of money). 2004 tl auto. there are other mods that I doubt affect mpg. like koni shocks polyurethane bushings, custom transmission cooler, transmission filter relocation etc.
That’s awesome!! The little things help for sure. Lowering a car even helps due to aerodynamics and not being able to get pockets of air under it causing drag. I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s getting decent milage
@@TexasHondaChannel yeah man. But when I floor it - it is just 8mpg😭 still looking why. So in my pace I get 15mpg mixed highway, city, standstill traffic and flooring it. I have heavy right foot in NYC (

@@TexasHondaChannel the only difference is supercharger increases efficiency. Much faster. So I think it does make sense. I also suspect 1 of my injectors is leaking. That is why 8mpg

Trust me it’s hard for me to not want to hear the whine from the charger lol 😂 i didn’t want to break Anything so I decided to take it easy and holy crap the gas mileage blew me away.
I hit 30mph on my 2019 ridgeline on a trip to Dallas and back. It’s the highest I’ve seen on the ridgeline. It required I do entirely freeway driving. And if I ever stopped for traffic it went down and I had to slowly accelerate and just let people drive around and slam on their brakes again for traffic.
Those older J-series use to get better than 30mpg like he is saying. I don’t know why they do much better. I wonder if there is some emissions device causing such a lower mpg.
@@chrisrobles2012 I’m not sure might just be the way they were designed plus I still have all my emission stuff which helps the bigger intake for more air and injectors flow tested and cleaned by me.
My state requires cat to pass inspection 🧐
technically ours does too but we don’t have emissions test here where I’m at so it’s just the visual inspection that they care about. Better to have one just incase.

Runs at about 2500 rpm at 80mph. Supercharger might make it run at lower rpm .
Mine is a 6 speed manual

There's a relationship between torque and hp. He's getting better torque across the gear ratios. I'm no expert....maybe someone can explain...
