I missed this one Olly - superb outing! The start was a dream - nice and calm with good views. You got it for most of the day. Loved the snack bar (that was sweet) and narrow paths - a bit dodgy going down that boulder field. Once in the valley though it was again another fantastic part of the walk. I loved it down there - so peaceful and impressive. Well, a good stretch back in with the spit and rain. But hey I think it added to the atmosphere. All the best. Mark
In a way, I feel that a ridge walk shouldn't 'need' a path on the ground... But there will always be folk less able to follow what's in front of their eyes and the work done to create these paths, is always in incredible.
Spectacular walk, Olly. Mynydd Tal-y-Mignedd has phenomenal views, though that rocky descent would've absolutely destroyed my old knees. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching. As I said in the video; in no way do I recommend that descent. Hopefully people will see from the video that it's not worth trying... Even lower down, the gradient was so steep, I found it easier to slide down the hill on my backside!
