- This weeks video is a bit different. My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Canada (our neighbors to the north). We stayed in Banff and Lake Louise. If you've never been - YOU NEED TO GO! It's their off season so it was very reasonable. One of the most beautiful places we've ever been!
I'm sorry for not having a property transformation for you all this week. I did have some fun making this video as I wanted to share a bit more of my story. I'll try to do this from time to time!

I also lost my father when I was 10 yrs old. My mom was left to raise 7 of 11 on her own, plus helping a 17 yr old single mom (one of my 7 sisters) with a baby. I too understand the struggles. I’m also a fellow Canadian.
I was 22 when I got married and we went to Lake Louise in the first year of our marriage. The Rockies are simply incredible. We don’t have ‘mountains’ like that in the UK. 🙂
We are now 42 yrs in and look forward to many more.
Not difficult to support someone as nice and hard working as you. 👏👏😀

A little late but from the bottom of my heart Happy anniversary guys. Love and respect each other and never let a day passing without saying , I love you. I knew what happiness is but after 46 years of marriage, I lost my husband and what is keeping me going is the perfect life we had and the good memories.

Happy Anniversary! It is awesome that you were able to take an amazing trip with your wife. My husband and I were married when we were 21. We celebrated 42 years of marriage this year. We also have 4 kids… 3 girls and one boy. They are all grown and living their lives now. When I first found your channel I knew it would be good because you are in Michigan! My husband and I grew up in Rockford, Michigan (north of Grand Rapids). My heart is in Michigan. One day we hope to retire in Michigan. People think we are crazy for not wanting to retire in Florida or somewhere warm. But Michigan is the best! We live in Ohio now. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next video. ❤️

Love what you do! Nice that you celebrated your 20 year anniversary in Banff, it is a beautiful place. I was 10 years old when my dad passed away from cancer (lung cancer) at age 48. He worked in the coal mines in Belgium, then my parents and 2 brothers immigrated to Montreal, Quebec (originally from an Ukraine). Me and my sister were born in Montreal. I now live in Northern Alberta, Canada. Thanks again for all you do!

Happy 20th anniversary to you and your beautiful wife! God bless you both and your children. I too, married verrry young. I have two wonderful, professional sons, my prideandjoy! (My husband was 19 and experienced, i was almost 17...and stupid! I though i was in love, but it was a bad case of food poisoning or a virus!) Lol. Then in the front yard the badlands drumheller, the prairie with the bison and antelope. Yes lake Louise is very beautiful but sure do hope you went and saw Jasper too which is not many miles from LLouise and is also very beautiful and the animals are so many. We Canadians love these places and cherish them. I wish you both a happy anniversary and am happy to hear you liked the area. I also watch you when you do the yard videos and really enjoy seeing how you make them look so lovely. Also love that you take the time to mend a fence or fix an area with a screw that 😊is needed to fix a sagging edge at the roof. 😊
