We all know our devil is a softie, but i liked the "scary" vibes we got in S1 the most. Just look at this headtwitch at 3:07 or the look at 3:17. Those are some of my favourite "evil" scenes and i wished we couldve gotten more of that :)
They couldn't go full forward with the violence and nudity and the hardcore devil because of the network it was on. Now since Netflix has taken over for new season 4 January, there's no boundaries, which was originally for the series much more intense as so his character should be I agree :)

I completely agree. He was so much more fun in the early seasons and the 4th one. They took away so much of his dark, charming, witty edge as the series went on. I think they forgot why so many fell in love with this character to begin with.
